About Terri Ferri

Terri Ferri is Managing Director, Market Executive for the Soundview Market. The Market is one of the largest in the NY Metro area and includes seven offices: Purchase, Westchester, Greenwich, Stamford, Westport, Ridgefield, and Fairfield, overseeing $72 billion in client assets. She was promoted to Market Executive in February of 2020, after her exceptional performance as Branch Manager of the Purchase branch for over six years.

Terri graduated from Fordham University in the Bronx, New York where she received a BS in Finance. She began her career with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and its predecessor firms in 1993 and has held various senior leadership positions throughout her tenure. She has also held various senior management roles at Citibank. During her time at Citibank, Terri was Business Head for Citi Private Client Bankers and Regional Sales Manager for the Westchester, Connecticut, and Bronx.

Terri’s experience in various roles throughout her career has instilled in her the belief that effective communication and relationship building are keys to fostering a culture that allows everyone to reach their maximum potential. This dedication to constant improvement and first class service has resulted in his leadership responsibilities growing considerably throughout her career.

Terri is passionate and committed to giving back to the community; one of the firm’s core values. She strives to instill these values within her complex by rallying her team to get involved with several charities. In 2019, the Purchase Branch was the recipient of the Branch Community Service Award. Equally important to her, diversity and inclusion have remained at the forefront of the culture within her complex. As a woman in the industry, she understands the challenges that are faced and aims to establish a work environment that is inclusive and provides opportunity to all employees. As a champion of women in the workforce, she was recognized as 2018 Morgan Stanley MAKER, a designation dedicated to identifying and celebrating women of accomplishment who are making difference in the lives of colleagues, clients and their communities.

Outside of work, Terri enjoys cooking and spending time with her family. Deeply rooted in her Italian heritage, she strives to pass her family traditions along to her 2 daughters, Arielle and Toni. Although a Bronx native, Terri now resides in Westchester with her husband Seth.

About Nicole Buono

Nicole Buono joined Morgan Stanley in October 2022 as the Branch Administrator for the Westchester Branch within the Soundview Market. Nicole’s main role is to ensure her Branch Manager and Financial Advisors have all the necessary tools and information needed to maintain their day-to-day business. In addition, she supports the Market Administrators with year-round support and collaborates on cross branch initiatives.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Nicole worked as an Office Administrator in a private Law Office where she provided secretarial and administrative support to senior counsel and associate attorneys. She assisted with drafting legal documents, client support and maintained the daily operations of the office.

Nicole graduated from Iona University in New Rochelle, NY with a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communication. Nicole is recently married and expecting her first child. In her free time, she is an avid reader and baker.

About Freddie Rivera

Freddie first began his career in financial services over two decades ago as an operations specialist at Smith Barney. In 2006, he joined a top-performing financial advisor team within the firm as a client service associate where he gained invaluable client relationship and service experience. He later transitioned to the corporate client platform where he worked with some of the firm’s largest institutional benefit-plan relationships.

In 2013, he joined Morgan Stanley Wealth Management where he later successfully completed the firm’s Leadership Program in 2015, leading him to his current role as a Market Risk Officer. Prior to joining the Soundview Market team, he spent over 7 years within one of the largest offices in midtown Manhattan covering over 250 private wealth advisors and their teams.

Personally, Freddie is a native New Yorker. He grew up in the Bronx and attended Katherine Gibbs College in New York City where he earned a degree in Visual Communications. He currently resides in Scarsdale, NY with his wife Cris, their young son Jax, and their two dogs. He enjoys traveling, photography, golf, and spending time with friends and family. Freddie is fluent in Spanish and working on learning Portuguese.

About Michael Vitacco

Currently a Morgan Stanley Risk Officer, Michael is responsible for a wide variety of supervisory, risk, and compliance functions related to the Soundview Market. He is responsible for maintaining a consistent controlled environment through adherence of business ethics, policies and adherence to all regulatory rules.

With over thirty years of experience, Michael understands the sales and planning aspect of wealth management. He views his role as not only managing risk for Morgan Stanley but also for his clients, the financial advisors.

After graduating Baruch College with a BBA in Finance, Michael began his career on the NYSE floor as a clerk and worked his way up to NYSE Member. He became the principle of a small executing brokerage firm where he gained experience in sales & trading, risk, and compliance. After leaving the NYSE, Michael joined Smith Barney as a Business Service Manager in the Soundview Market and later became a Financial Advisor.

Just prior to rejoining Morgan Stanley Michael was a Market Director at JPMorgan Chase covering the mid-Hudson valley and Albany markets.

Originally a New York native, Michael currently lives in Connecticut with his wife, daughter, and son. He enjoys spending time with his family. Traveling with his wife going to the gym with his daughter and playing golf with his son.

About Anthony Basso

Anthony P. Basso Jr. is an Assistant Vice President and Business Service Officer for the Purchase/Westchester office within the Soundview Market. Anthony is responsible for service and operational items that arise as Financial Advisors assist their clients in meeting the goals that they have set out to achieve. In his current role, Anthony ensures that employees are armed with the knowledge needed to assist clients with any request.

Anthony began his career in financial services in 2017 interning at Morgan Stanley and permanently joining the firm as a Service Associate later that same year. As Service Associate, Anthony worked with local management to assist with daily operational items and drive digital engagement with clients. After 4 years, Anthony transition into his current role as a Business Service Officer where he works closely with Financial Advisor’s and their assistants to provide top tier service to clients.

Anthony was born and raised in Westchester, NY. He graduated from Fordham University in New York City with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Minor in Computer Science. In his free time Anthony enjoys playing rugby, traveling and cooking for his friends and family. Currently Anthony has his Series 7, Series 66, Series 9 and Series 10.

About Angie Charles

Angie Charles is a Business Service Officer in the Purchase| Westchester office for the Soundview Market. She joined Morgan Stanley in 2022 with over 20 years of financial services industry experience.

Prior to joining as a BSO, Angie spent eleven years at JPMorgan as a Client Service Group Manager in White Plains and most recently a Supervisory Manager in New York. Angie's career began at UBS where she worked in a variety of roles before becoming an Administrative Manager/ Risk Control.

Angie brings to the role an innovative and client-oriented perspective. By successfully collaborating with key stakeholders and cultivating long-term relationships, Angie fosters transparency, goal attainment, and organizational effectiveness.

About Thomas Hughes

Thomas W. Hughes is a Senior Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management offices in Connecticut and New York.

Tom began his career in financial services in 1991. Previously, he has been the National Sales Manager for AIG Financial Advisory Group and a Mortgage and Credit Specialist for Merrill Lynch. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2010, Tom was a Wealth Management Banker covering the Stamford, CT Merrill Lynch office with Bank of America.

Tom graduated from Bryant University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He grew up and currently resides in Darien, CT with his wife and family.
