About Lowry West

Lowry is a Managing Director and Private Wealth Advisor with Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. He has been providing comprehensive financial advice to high net worth families for over 30 years. Lowry and his team develop customized wealth management plans for highly affluent families, entrepreneurs, private business owners, and public company executives.

Lowry began his career in the financial services industry in 1992 with Paine Webber, joining Morgan Stanley in 1999. Before entering the financial services industry, he served as a Certified Public Accountant with Deloitte & Touche in Seattle, WA.
 
Lowry holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. He received his undergraduate degree in Business & Accounting from the University of Washington in 1989. Lowry has been recognized as one of the 2024 Barron's Top 1,200 Financial Advisors as well as the 2025 Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisors.  He resides in Seattle with his wife and two daughters.

About Timothy Henderson

Timothy Henderson is an Executive Director and Private Wealth Advisor with Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. He brings more than two decades of sophisticated investing and wealth planning experience to the service of his team’s clients. Tim and his team develop customized wealth management solutions for highly affluent families, not-for-profit entities, and private business owners. In addition to managing discretionary client portfolios, Tim works closely with self-directed clients in the execution of opportunistic investment strategies and helping develop tailored lending and credit solutions.

Prior to Morgan Stanley, Tim was with JPMorgan’s Private Bank where he partnered with Steve Romano to run the ultra-high net worth investment practice in Seattle. He started his career at Goldman Sachs in the San Francisco Bay Area in a corporate and ventures services group, advising venture capital firms on their portfolio holdings, before moving into Private Wealth Management in 2001.

Tim is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Seattle. He earned his BBA in accounting from Gonzaga University in 2000 and remains actively involved in the school, mentoring undergraduate students. He is involved with a number of nonprofit groups in Seattle, including Friends of the Children and the Washington State Opportunity Scholarship. Tim lives in Seattle with his wife and three children.

About Stephen Romano

Stephen Romano is an Executive Director and Private Wealth Advisor with Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. Drawing on four decades of institutional investing and wealth planning experience, Stephen and his team develop customized wealth management solutions for family offices, public-company executives and private business owners, as well as foundations and endowments.

Prior to Morgan Stanley, Steve spent a decade with the J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Seattle, where he partnered with Tim Henderson to run the ultra-high net worth investment practice. Steve began his career in 1981 in commercial banking with Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company in New York, followed by institutional fixed income sales with Salomon Brothers. He returned to Seattle in 1990 to join Sirach Capital Management as a Principal and Portfolio Manager. In 2004, he became Chief Investment Officer of a large private foundation before moving into private wealth management.

Steve attended Lakeside School in Seattle and earned a B.A. in economics from Boston College in 1981. He is a CFA Charterholder as well as a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Seattle. In his downtime, Steve enjoys competitive tennis and skiing with his wife, Juliet, and their three grown children.

About Jan Pekalski

Jan began his career at Morgan Stanley in 2004, initially with an institutional team serving foundations and endowments. He joined our team in 2007 and his responsibilities include investment product research, portfolio construction analysis, performance reporting, and cash flow modeling.

Jan received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from the University of Washington in 2005. He and his wife live in Issaquah, WA with their dog, LuLu, and they enjoy hiking in the Pacific Northwest.

About Jonathan Chen

Jonathan Chen is a Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management in the San Francisco, Menlo Park, and Los Angeles area. He previously served as a Private Banker in the Pacific Northwest – Seattle, WA.

Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.

Jonathan began his career in financial services in 2004 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2014. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Citigold Relationship Manager at Citibank. He also served as a Premier Client Manager and a Branch Manager at Bank of America.

Jonathan is a Bay Area native and currently resides in Union City, CA with his wife and two children. Outside of the office, he enjoys traveling, playing golf and watching sports.
