About Amy Nash

Amy Nash is an Executive Director and has been with Morgan Stanley and its predecessor firms since 1998. In her current role, she focuses on business development, coaching, and practice management for Financial Advisors throughout Middle Tennessee. Her previous experience has provided perspective on running a wealth management business and how to effectively advocate for financial advisors. Amy works to foster an environment that helps Advisors maximize the resources made available to them by Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. By helping Advisors make the most of what the firm has to offer, she knows their clients are receiving some of the highest quality investment advice and global insights.

Amy was named a “MAKER” at Morgan Stanley in 2019. Recipients are recognized for serving as groundbreakers, innovators and advocates who sponsor and champion women’s advancement within our organization.

About Melody Fisher

Melody Fisher is a dedicated Branch Administrator for Morgan Stanley’s Nashville Market. After graduating from Austin Peay University with a degree in Health Sciences, she began career in financial services at Morgan Stanley as a receptionist in June 2020. Melody’s rapid ascent to the role of Branch Administrator by September 2022 stands as a testament to her tenacity and passion for the industry. Melody grew up in a household where the expectation was to see things through once started, and she carries this commitment into her day-to-day life. Melody is actively working on obtaining her Series 7 & 66 licenses. Her unwavering commitment to team success, adept problem-solving, and drive to see tasks through define her invaluable contributions to the team.

About Joseph Stout

Joseph Stout is an Assistant Vice President, Risk Officer at Morgan Stanley, known for his client-centered approach and commitment to ethical standards. Joseph has over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, starting as a personal banker with Fifth Third Bank prior to joining Morgan Stanley as a Private Bank Advisory Associate in 2014. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from West Virginia University and has further honed his leadership expertise through the completion of Morgan Stanley Leadership Readiness Programs 1 & 2.

At the heart of Joseph's work are his core values: prioritizing clients' interests, upholding ethical integrity, and actively participating in the prevention of elder abuse within the financial realm. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Joseph is deeply engaged in his community, contributing to his local neighborhood association, supporting The Operation Underground Railroad, and being an active member of Midtown Fellowship, his local church. In his free time, he loves spending time with his family and dog Waylon, being outdoors, supporting local musicians, and listening to new podcasts/audio books to continue to learn.

About Michael Murdock

Michael Murdock was born and raised in Tennessee. He has spent over 40 years in the surrounding Nashville area, and he brings 20+ years of financial services, specifically wealth management, experience to our seasoned team.

Mike graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education, with the original intention of working in sports medicine. He was offered a role in the investment industry and hasn’t looked back. Since then, he’s obtained the Series 7, 63, 66, 9, and 10 licenses, which underscore his commitment and expertise to the industry. He’s been called a “swiss army knife” by peers and colleagues, having served many roles throughout his career including Operations Manager, Supervisory Officer, Branch Manager, and Financial Advisor. A majority of his career was spent with UBS. In 2022, Michael joined Morgan Stanley, where he now serves as Branch Service Officer. His adaptable leadership style creates an environment where individuals thrive, and he values recognizing excellence. His satisfaction comes from doing what’s best for both his clients and his team. Mike expresses a strong passion for our business and explains that successful managers operate with five hats. He believes that he must demonstrate Management, Leadership, Strategic Partnership, Community CEO, and Coach. He also lives by one of his favorite quotes – and we will learn that he has a lot of them – “speak once and listen twice”.

Outside of work, Mike is always seeking an opportunity to connect with individuals in his community and has built partnerships across the industry. In his free time, he enjoys watching football, traveling, reading and most importantly, spending time with his fiancée, Mischon, and golden retriever, Max.

About Stella Murphy

Starting at a young age, Stella always found the investment industry to be interesting. With that in mind, she received her degree in Economics from Northern Illinois University and landed her first job at Merrill Lynch. She has held a variety of positions along the way, but the one that she enjoys the most is her current one leading support professionals in our branches. This role allows her to bring her passion for the people who provide the Client Experience. One of her favorite quotes is, “Make the customer the hero of your story." Outside of work, Stella is apart of the Kappa Delta Alumni Association and enjoys hiking, cooking, and playing tennis in her free time.

About Hannah Sledd

Hannah Sledd is a Vice President and Financial Planning Director serving Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management offices in Tennessee, Kentucky, and West Virginia. She is responsible for helping Financial Advisors’ clients and prospects with their financial planning needs.

Hannah began her career in financial services in 2012 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2022. She is passionate about helping others achieve their financial goals through collaborative planning. Hannah began her work as an independent advisor with an Atlanta firm in 2012, worked on an elite trading team at E*TRADE in 2013, and then joined JP Morgan in 2014. For nearly four years, she helped advisors develop and implement financial plans for their high-net-worth clientele before leaving to lead mergers and acquisitions for an international software company. After that, Hannah has worked as a financial advisor in Nashville and Atlanta.
Hannah graduated from the University of Alabama, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance with a concentration in Investment Management and holds her Certified Financial Planner® designation. Hannah lives in Nashville, Tennessee. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, hiking, and travelling.
