    About Jason M. Hochstrasser

    Jason is particularly focused on portfolio management and financial planning for our clients. Leveraging the resources of the firm along with his own experience, he creates and executes thoughtful investment strategies and tactics. His Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation reflects his commitment to helping clients prepare for and enjoy their retirements.

    Jason has spent more than a decade with Morgan Stanley, where he began his career as a Client Service Associate and developed a keen interest in portfolio management. He later moved on to Morgan Stanley’s Private Bank – this background in liability and cash management informs his planning process.

    In 2022, Jason was included as a member of Morgan Stanley's Pacesetter’s Club; a global recognition program for Financial Advisors who, early in their career, have demonstrated the highest professional standards and first class client service.

    Jason earned a degree in Finance from Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland.

    He lives in West Islip, New York with his wife Kristen and their two daughters, Zoey and Hadley. Outside the office, Jason stays active, enjoying a long run or a day out on the golf course. He also continues to perfect his culinary skills, pairing delicious homecooked meals with a glass of red or white wines from all over the world.

    In 2019, Jason ran the TCS New York City Marathon for a charitable organization that he continues to support, Right To Play.

    About Brian P. Dunne

    Brian helps lead our financial planning team, working with clients to define and articulate their goals, then construct portfolios to reach them. During his 40 years of experience, nearly all at Morgan Stanley, he has formed close relationships with his clients, many of whom have been with him for most of his career.

    Brian believes in the importance of understanding market and economic conditions and investor behavior. He is an avid proponent of financial and market research – he leverages both Morgan Stanley’s vast resources and his own specific skills, focusing on both top-down (macroeconomic) and bottom-up (company) investing.

    Brian is a graduate of Villanova University.

    About Howard Fishkind

    Howard is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Family Wealth Advisor, and Executive Director. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2008 from Merrill Lynch and has over 35 years of financial services industry experience. Howard works with a range of clients including wealthy individuals and their immediate family members, corporate executives, and business owners. He often works closely with both estate attorneys as well as CPAs helping to address his client needs.

    Howard’s role is to help simplify the complexities that come with financial planning and investments, as he helps his clients attain confidence in their financial position so they may have more time for what is most important to them and their families, as well as help achieve their unique definition of success and fulfillment. He prides himself in developing and maintaining a personal connection not just with his clients but with their spouses and children which enables him to assist not just today but in the future as their situations may change.

    Howard resides in Short Hills, NJ with his wife Marcia, three children, seven cats, and one dog. His eldest daughter is currently attending Colorado State Veterinary School, while his son attends Boston University and his twin sister attends Penn State University. When not working, Howard is most likely to be found out on the water enjoying his boat during the summer months or helping his wife with animal rescue. Over the years, his family has fostered well over 200 cats and kittens and assisted in finding “furever homes” for each while keeping a few along the way and have also rescued five Pitbull dogs.

    Howard earned a BBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School with a concentration in Finance. He has been named on the Forbes list of Best in State Wealth Advisors for 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024, as well as being a member of the Morgan Stanley Master’s Club for the past seven years, most recently in 2024.

    Paul joined Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in 2009, where he has earned the titles of Financial Planning Specialist and Senior Vice President. He has over 35 years of experience in financial services having spent 15 years managing mutual funds prior to joining Morgan Stanley. 

    As a Financial Advisor, Paul focuses on asset, liability and risk management with a concentration on retirement and education planning.

    Paul earned a BA in economics from Haverford College and an MBA in finance from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.  After graduate school, he worked as an equity analyst, first at the private bank at Bankers Trust and then at Ark Asset Management.  He moved to Dreyfus where, for 10 years, he co-managed small and midcap mutual funds.  Prior to joining Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, he spent two and a half years at Sentinel Investments, where he managed a midcap growth fund and was a frequent guest on BloombergTV.

    Paul is married and lives in New York City with his wife. He has two grown daughters and a grandson.  His interests include sports, music, theatre and travel.

    About Maureen A. Ferrante

    Maureen is a highly regarded Senior Client Service Associate with more than 39 years of experience in the financial services industry. She has spent her entire career with Morgan Stanley and companies that were eventually acquired by the firm.

    Maureen handles all of the day-to-day administration and operational responsibilities associated with client accounts. This requires her to interface regularly with clients to help ensure their satisfaction.

    Some of Maureen’s responsibilities include helping clients with their banking needs as it pertains to the firm’s Cash management solutions, wiring funds, handling margin calls, and ensuring that all documentation of client accounts is up-to-date.

    What she likes most about her job is that each day is never the same.

    Maureen lives in Queens and is most proud of her two daughters, Antonia and Amanda.

    In her free time, she enjoys running, traveling and spending summers in Montauk, New York.

    About Francesca Stefanelli

    Francesca recently graduated from Rutgers University magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a concentration in Global Business. Francesca first started with the Water Street Wealth Management team as an intern in June of 2023, followed by becoming a part-time employee while finishing her education, and upon graduation transitioned into a full time Client Service Associate.

    Francesca’s day-to-day is very much client oriented, helping ensure that clients’ needs are met on the administrative end. Francesca is eager to learn more about the industry
