About Chris du Passage
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Chris has called Mandeville home since entering the financial services industry over 25 years ago. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of The Walther-du Passage-Lobdell Group at Morgan Stanley. Over the years, Chris has played a key role in developing and growing the group’s corporate retirement plan line of business. Chris holds Morgan Stanley’s Insurance Planning Director designation demonstrating his commitment to incorporating insurance solutions as a foundational component of his financial planning and risk management process.
Having traveled extensively throughout his life, Chris brings a unique skillset and background to the team. After studying law and earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University, Chris transitioned into the food service industry, graduating from Johnson and Wales with a Culinary Arts degree. His entry into restaurant management eventually brought him to New Orleans where his wife, Angele, is originally from. Over time, Chris discovered his true calling as a financial advisor, joining Legg Mason in 1997. He’s been with Morgan Stanley and its predecessor firms ever since and, along with partner Jim Walther, formed the Walther-duPassage Group in 2007.
Chris and Angele are the proud parents of two boys, Jacques and Emerson. He is a fan of all types of music, and in his free time, Chris loves to travel, play golf and spend time with his family.
