Step 1: Discovery
- You'll sit down with us, so we can get to know each other and understand your priorities, goals, and investment philosophy
- A careful review of your current financial standing and important documentation will take place, so we can establish a baseline to start from
Step 2: Analysis
- We use a variety of planning and risk management tools to examine your assets and determine the best, most appropriate strategies based on your situation
- Each recommendation we find suitable will be stress-tested to ensure it's compatible with you and your goals
Step 3: Presentation
- We'll provide a presentation of your investment plan in earnest detail which will include recommendations, tax minimization strategies, risk management strategies, and estate planning
- This is your opportunity to ask any questions you have about why certain investments are suitable or why a specific strategy is recommended
Step 4: Implementation
- Once you approve, we will begin implementing your financial plan
- This involves collaborating with other professionals, such as your CPA and attorney
- Walnut Street Group believes in full transparency, and we will keep you informed every step of the way
Step 5: Ongoing Service
- We will meet regularly to discuss the performance of your financial plan and track progress towards your goals
- Consistent monitoring of your account and portfolio will allow us to track performance and determine if adjustments are necessary because of changes in your life, priorities, or the market

About Will Hunt
The Walnut Street Group at Morgan Stanley prides itself on its investment process beginning with an exploration of an individual or entity’s cash flow needs and return expectations to help create a tailored investment strategy. The team enjoys working in conjunction with a client’s other trusted advisors such as attorneys and CPAs.
Will is a proud husband to his wife Terra and devoted father to his four children. He gives back to his community by coaching swimming to various age groups within the Chattanooga area. Will enjoys spending time with family and friends and doing just about anything active.

About Laura Knight
She began her financial services career in 2004. Her previous experience includes Assistant Operations Manager at another wirehouse, client service associate at a wirehouse and a portfolio assistant at an RIA (Registered Investment Advisor). With client service as her background and financial planning as her focus, she is passionate about understanding clients’ needs, fears and goals. She enjoys taking a financial tangle of accounts, income streams and information to streamline that jumble into an easy to understand path in an effort to reach a clients’ objectives and goals.
She is married to Tevis Knight who teaches at Rossville Elementary in Georgia. Laura is the mother of two boys, Nick (12 years old) and Robert (7 years old). On the weekends you can find them at a soccer field, on the Chickamauga Lake or Watts Bar Lake (fishing or swimming). Laura loves a good bargain! She has an eagle eye for getting the best deals. In the past she has served on the boards of the Junior League of Chattanooga and the Northside Neighborhood House. Laura continues to give back to both organizations.

Drawing upon her previous experience in global risk and compliance, and extensive 20-year tenure as a school librarian for the Baylor School in Chattanooga, Susan takes great pride in fostering relationships with clients and helping them work through complex questions and situations. She attended the University of Tennessee Chattanooga and studied english, history, and early childhood education.
Beyond the office, Susan loves to spoil her two dogs: Lucy, a 5.5 year old basset hound, and Stella, a 6.5 year old mixed breed hound. She also enjoys gardening, quilting, and cooking for her friends and neighbors.

Jason began his career in financial services in 2002, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2014. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Wealth Management Banker at Merrill Lynch. He also served as an Operations Supervisor at PHH Mortgage.
Jason is a graduate of Florida State University, where he received both a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Master of Business Administration in Finance. He lives in Sandy Springs, Georgia with his family. Outside of the office, Jason enjoys spending time with family, attending his kids sporting events, traveling, watching college football, and coaching his daughters’ softball team.

Brian is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Management. He and his family reside in Cumming, Georgia. Outside of the office, Brian dedicates his time to developing future leaders in youth athletics, serving as a Coach on his children’s baseball teams. When not on the field, he also enjoys running, traveling, watching sports, and spending time with his family.

Matt began his career in financial services in 2009, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2015 as a Private Banker Advisory Associate.
Matt is a graduate of the Georgia Southern University, where he received a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, and Valdosta State University, where he received his Masters Degree in Business Administration. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
