About Me

Paul Vasady-Kovacs is a Managing Director, Senior Portfolio Manager, and Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley.

Paul is focused on helping organize and simplify the financial lives of affluent clients so they can pursue what is most important them. He provides boutique-like services to a limited number of individuals, families and organizations across the United States. Serving the unique needs of multigenerational families is at the heart of his practice. He strives to be a trusted advisor for all things relating to the management of wealth, including asset, investment and liability management, insurance, philanthropy, and financial and estate planning strategies.

Paul is dedicated to the success of his clients and is passionate about his work. A lifelong athlete and team player, Paul brings integrity, experience, leadership, clear communication and strategic thinking to every client relationship.

About Jay Goldstein

Jay Goldstein is a Vice President and Director of Business Development at Morgan Stanley.

Jay was a partner in and practiced sophisticated Estate and Gift Tax planning and Estate and Trust administrations at a highly regarded law firm for over 25 years before he joined VK Wealth Management in 2019. He focused his practice on providing sophisticated Estate and Gift Tax planning for the tax efficient transfer of wealth, Trust services, retirement planning, implementation of philanthropic goals, and effective asset preservation strategies, which include ultra high net worth clients.

Jay has been active in his local community for many years. He is a former Board Member of Jewish Senior Services in Bridgeport, Connecticut; a former Trustee of the Montessori School; a former member of the New York Tax Study Group, Inc.; Connecticut Estate Tax Planning Council; Fairfield County and Lower Fairfield County Estate Tax Planning Councils; Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts and American Bar Associations; a former Director of Computers for Kids, Inc.; former chair of the Program Allocation Review Committee of the United Way; and the Jewish Federation Leadership Committee.

Jay holds the professional designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation from the College for Financial Planning.

Jay earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre-Law from Northeastern University. He also earned his Juris Doctorate Degree at the New England School of Law and his Master of Laws Degree in Taxation at Boston University. Jay and his wife live in Hobe Sound, Florida.

About Christian Martinez

Christian Martinez is a Vice President and Director of Investments at Morgan Stanley.

Christian has been with VK Wealth Management since 2005. He is responsible for supporting the team’s overall wealth management strategy by working closely with clients on investment and financial planning related items. He assists Paul to oversee client portfolios and investments. He offers expertise in a wide range of investment product areas and lending services.

Christian earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Brown University while being a four-year starter on the Brown Men’s soccer team.

Christian and his wife live in Jersey City, New Jersey, with their young daughter.

About Dana Shaker

Dana Shaker is a Wealth Management Associate at Morgan Stanley.

Dana has been with VK Wealth Management since 2015. She is responsible for managing all aspects of the client experience and serves as the day-to-day point of contact for all clients. She provides clients with highly personalized service to ensure every interaction with the team is a positive one.

Dana earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Trinity College. She remains an active alumna of both Trinity College and The Loomis Chaffee School. Dana currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.

About Sean Hanigan

Sean Hanigan is a Registered Client Service Associate at Morgan Stanley.

Sean has been with VK Wealth Management since 2021.
Before that, he worked within the Retirement & Personal Wealth Solutions group at Bank of America since joining the firm in 2018. Sean provides dedicated operational support to his team and is a frequent point of contact for clients.

Sean earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from Penn State University and currently resides in Hoboken, New Jersey.
