My Story and Services

I lead my practice, drawing on the wealth of experience of my support team and Morgan Stanley to guide families and small businesses through various facets of personal wealth management and business planning. We help over one hundred families around the country and around the world. Our Team strives to provide the attention, service level, and skill found in very few practices outside of a family office.

I am a Charted Financial Analyst® charterholder.

Prior to entering the Wealth Management industry, I graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in Economics.
I was commissioned into the U.S. Navy and served as a Surface Warfare Officer, Nuclear Power Engineer, and Associate Professor at Notre Dame. I also graduated Magna Cum Laude with an MBA from the highly regarded University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business.

About Brian Kerns

Brian Kerns is a Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in Florida.

Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.

Brian began his career in financial services in 2004, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2018. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Senior Premier Banker at SunTrust. He also served as a Wealth Management Banker at the Merrill Lynch.

Brian is a graduate of the University of North Florida, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management. Brian resides in Lake Mary, Florida with his wife and children. Outside of the office, he enjoys playing golf and coaching his son T-ball team.
