About Vicki Schilling

After graduating from the University of South Dakota in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting, Vicki started her financial career. She began in public accounting, moved on to corporate accounting, and finally found her calling in the Wealth Management world of finance 30 years ago. Through her wealth management work, Vicki designs a customized financial plan for each and every client - from simple to incredibly complex. Her careful listening, questioning and straight-forward input helps ensure that each plan is a road map designed for accomplishing that person's most meaningful goals.

Being from a small town, Vicki is very qualified in assisting the farming and ranching communities around South Dakota, Wyoming, North Dakota, and Nebraska with her agricultural background. She also excels at working with 401k rollovers as a retirement professional and helping small business owners with succession planning. Alongside her other skills, Vicki is well versed in the division of assets in divorce settlements, along with finalizing estate-asset divisions.

Along with her client's dreams, Vicki's most important dream is to leave a legacy. She fulfills this through helping clients pass assets from generation to generation, watching her daughter make her own way in the world, and her participation in the community. In her spare time, this dog lover spends her time clogging, scrap-booking and has volunteered at organizations such as YFS, Love Inc., Buffalo Gals, Zonta of the Black Hills, Black Hills Stock Show Foundation, and the Agriculture and Natural Resources committee of the Rapid City Chamber. Vicki is also an active member of Blessed Sacrament Church. When asked what keeps her enthusiasm at 120 percent, Vicki says, "I get to spend my time serving some of the most wonderful people in the world. They are smart, they are decision makers, and they expect me to be informed, responsive, and resourceful. They inspire me and they push me to keep stretching!"
