About Michael Vasta
A founding partner of the Vasta McKay Group, Michael Vasta helps craft comprehensive wealth management plans for a national clientele of successful entrepreneurs, executives and their families. Dedicated to helping the team’s clients simplify their finances and pursue their life goals, Michael leads the team on financial planning, asset management, access to private banking strategies, and risk mitigation strategies. He takes great pride in helping the families we serve grow their wealth and help preserve it for future generations.
Highly analytical and detail-oriented by nature, Michael is intimately familiar with the broad range of products and services available at Morgan Stanley and is proficient at—and greatly enjoys—educating his clients about their investments. Michael is also the team’s resident professional on Morgan Stanley’s advanced technologies, serving on the Wealth Management Technology Council. He also serves on the Home Loans Field Advisory Council and the Insured Solutions Council.
Michael joined Morgan Stanley in 2007. He was named to 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021 Forbes’ listing of “America’s Top Next-Generation Wealth Advisors.” He was also named to Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors for 2021, 2022, and 2023.
Prior to his wealth management career, Michael worked in purchasing, planning and large-scale systems implementation on Boeing military programs.
Michael is a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor's Degree in Management with a concentration in Finance. He serves on the board of the Logos School, a therapeutic school for students struggling with a broad range of emotional challenges. Michael is also actively involved with Humane Society of Missouri, Ronald McDonald House, Cystic Fibrosis, Gateway for Hope, The Covering House and Room With the Inn Crowd.
A native of the St. Louis area, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, Becky, and playtime with their son and daughter, Enzo and Mila. He also enjoys playing golf, traveling, cooking and collecting fine wine.

A co-founder of the Vasta McKay Group, Grant McKay delivers holistic wealth management solutions to a dynamic national clientele of high-achieving entrepreneurs, executives and their families. Grant’s background in institutional investing and portfolio management informs his approach to creating highly customized investment and asset allocation strategies based on the unique needs of each client. His goal is to help each of the team’s clients develop and execute a personalized strategy that is designed to help them protect their assets, simplify their finances and pursue their greater life goals.
Grant joined Morgan Stanley in 2009 . Grant earlier served as an account executive and contract negotiator at SeamlessWeb LLC in New York, and as a Financial Analyst for Fiduciary Asset Management, a St. Louis-based hedge fund. He also worked for two years at GrubHub, pre-IPO, and spent two years traveling and teaching English in Thailand and Japan.
Grant attended USC and travels frequently to California to visit friends and clients. He graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in international politics and a minor in Germanic studies. A St. Louis native, Grant now lives in Naples, Florida, with his wife and two children. He stays involved in the community as a supporter of Naples Children’s and Education Foundation

About Dori Stegmann
A member of the Vasta McKay Group since 2013, Dori Stegmann works to deliver an outstanding overall service experience to the team’s clients. Dori handles a broad range of responsibilities, from preparing portfolio reviews to executing trades and handling insurance operations. With an extensive knowledge of the firm’s online tools, Dori assists clients with website access and cash management, and manages the team’s digital marketing and educational efforts.
Dori began her career in financial services in 2005 with Morgan Stanley in Destin, Florida, where her husband served in the United States Air Force. In 2011, she returned to St. Louis with her husband and two daughters, to be closer to her extended family. Dori earned her bachelor's degree from Webster University, majoring in business administration with a concentration in finance and investments. She is registered and currently holds Series 7, Series 66, and life and variable annuity insurance licenses.
A St. Louis native, Dori enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling to the beach, being active outdoors, practicing yoga and volunteering at her daughters' schools. A strong believer in giving back, Dori is actively involved in autism awareness and is an ardent supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Drawing on three decades of diverse financial services industry experience, Jolanda Neely sets a warm and professional tone for the team’s client service operations. Jolanda is responsible for an extensive range of administrative and operational services, including assisting clients with cash management needs, onboarding new clients and ensuring that records are kept properly. A highly skilled professional, she plays a key role in deepening client relationships by being both responsive to client requests and proactive to their needs.
Jolanda began her career with Dean Witter/Morgan Stanley in New York, working in the Fixed Income Division. She holds an associate’s degree from the Borough of Manhattan Community College, and earned a business management certificate from Cornell University’s International Labor Relations School in Manhattan.
A native New Yorker, Jolanda relocated to St. Louis in 2003 with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, bike riding, nature walks, and volunteering for her son’s basketball team. Jolanda is an avid supporter of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

Greg Cole is a Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in Missouri.
Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.
Greg began his career in financial services in 1999 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2011. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Regional Banking Consultant at Wells Fargo Advisors. Greg has also served as an Area Manager with JP Morgan Chase and was a Senior Mortgage Consultant in the Smith Barney division at CitiMortgage.
Greg is a graduate of Rockhurst University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He and his family currently reside in O’Fallon, Missouri. Outside of the office, Greg enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
