    Working With You
    Our Wealth Management and Investment Process is the framework for our consulting relationships. 

    1) The first step in our consulting process is for us to gain a perspective of our clients’ financial objectives, goals, needs, and attitudes toward risk.  However, we fundamentally believe in the importance of ‘seeing the forest through the trees,’ whether making investment decisions or by transcending our clients’ basic financial profiles in order to know who they are as people.

    2) Utilizing this comprehensive understanding of our clients, we craft an appropriate asset allocation strategy that implements and complements our command of the clients’ needs and goals.  We are then able to seek out and recommend the investment strategies best suited for our clients.

    We also help construct and institute an investment policy statement for our investment advisory clients to be used as a guide and compass through the evolution of our relationship.  During the client review process, this allows us to help ensure that we stay on our chartered course and avoid the distractions that may get in the way of a comprehensive investment plan.

    3) We closely monitor and continually reevaluate the management and performance of our clients’ investments.  Additionally, we regularly rebalance our clients’ portfolios based upon their risk profiles and our market outlook.

Meet The Zolet Lenet and Fink Group

About Morry A Zolet

A founding partner of The Zolet Lenet Fink Group at Morgan Stanley, Morry brings over three decades of experience to the complex investing and wealth structuring needs of his team’s trusted and valued clients. Morry came into the industry just before the 1987 crash and has witnessed the collapse of the dotcom bubble, weathered the global financial crisis and guided his clients through the evolutionary changes of the COVID epidemic. Living through these learning experiences has seasoned Morry and has sharpened his abilities to adapt to changes and apply strategies that continue to serve his clients and their families in this ever-changing world.

Morry began his career with Ferris, Baker Watts, Inc., rising to become a member of the firm’s Retail Advisory Board and a Senior Vice President. During this time, Morry also taught investment courses at the Johns Hopkins University Odyssey program. In addition, Morry was a Wall Street commentator on WBAL TV in Baltimore, as well as a panelist on PBS's "Wall Street Week." He joined Morgan Stanley in their Lutherville office in April 2000 and is now a Managing Director.

His exceptional work has earned him numerous accolades, including recognition by Baltimore Business Journal as one of Greater Baltimore’s “40 Under 40” most influential business leaders in 1997, Barron's as one of the Top 1,000 Financial Advisors in the Country in 2009, Forbes' Best-In-State Wealth Advisors ranking in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023, and Forbes Best in State Teams 2023 and 2024.

Morry graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park as a Dean’s List member with a BS degree in Finance. He earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation from the College of Financial Planning in Denver, CO and is a qualified Family Wealth Director.

Morry has always made it his mission to give back to his community. He currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Associated Jewish Charities, Past Chair of Investment Committee for the Associated. Morry is the Chair of the Governance Committee for the Port Discovery Children’s Museum and current Board Member and is a Trustee of the Hy Zolet Family Foundation where they provide Baltimore City High School Student Athletes, scholarships to 4-year colleges.

Morry is a lifelong resident of Maryland and currently resides in Owings Mills with his wife Lisa and they have three daughters, Alyson, Lindsay, and Cara. In his free time, Morry loves spending quality time with his family, friends, and his dog Cooper. His hobbies include traveling, golfing, working out, pickleball and going to the Theater.

About Ryan M Lenet

Ryan is a Executive Director and Portfolio Management Director with Morgan Stanley. His career began with American Express Financial Advisors in 1995, and in 1999 he joined Morgan Stanley. Ryan is a founding partner of The Zolet Lenet and Fink Group. As a financial advisor, he focuses on comprehensive financial planning and wealth management for his clients.

Ryan graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Maryland at College Park and later earned the Financial Planning Specialist Designation from Morgan Stanley.

Ryan is passionate about helping his clients navigate the challenging course of the capital markets as they work towards their own personal and family goals. He compares his work to that of a captain of a commercial Airline. Taking his clients to their respective destinations such as retirement, in the smoothest possible way, while at the same time providing guidance as turbulence is encountered.

Ryan also enjoys giving back to the community. He currently is on the Board of Trustees at The Baltimore School for the Arts and is on the BSA Finance Committee. In addition, is on the Retirement 401K Committee for The Associated Jewish Charities and is Chair of the Finance Committee at Baltimore Hebrew Congregation. While in college, he worked as an intern in the financial services field and knows the power of college internships for young kids. He has spent his career mentoring college kids and providing internships.

When not in the office, Ryan prefers to spend most of his time with his family. Mountain Biking out west is amongst his favorite activity. In addition, he has a strong love of the arts. Taking his family to New York to see as many Broadway shows as possible and getting to Live Music Concerts is amongst his favorite activities.

About Joel T Fink

As a Senior Vice President, Joel T. Fink brings 18 years of experience as a Financial Advisor to the Zolet Lenet and Fink Group. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2005 after graduating Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from Franklin & Marshall College as a major in Business Finance and Economics.

In 2022, Joel was recognized by Forbes as one of the Top Next-Gen Advisors in Maryland and his group was named as a Forbes Best in State Wealth Management Team in 2023 and 2024, honors which speaks to Joel’s unwavering commitment to his clients’ best interests.

Joel holds several prestigious credentials including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ from the College of Financial Planning, Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist℠, Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC), and Insurance Planning Director. He uses these designations to provide holistic financial planning advice for his clients and their families. Joel has also been involved with Franklin & Marshall’s local alumni chapter for many years. Joel has received various leadership awards throughout his years of volunteer service including the Julius Rosenberg Memorial Award, the JCS Board Leadership Award, and the Zelda Miller Memorial Award.

Born and raised in Baltimore County, Joel resides in the Anneslie neighborhood of Towson with his wife and two young children. Joel spends his spare time primarily with his family and friends, and enjoys supporting the Ravens, Orioles and other local sports teams, as well as listening to an eclectic array of music. In his past life, Joel was a rock and jazz drummer.

About Robert J. Friedman

Robert J. Friedman is an Assistant Vice President and Wealth Management Associate with Morgan Stanley. He began his career in the Financial Services industry in 1990. He has held several positions in the industry including Retirement Client Services, Margin Operations, Client Account Services and Legal and Compliance.
