The history of Atlanta dates back to 1836, when Georgia decided to build a railroad to the Midwest and a location was chosen to be the line’s terminus. The stake marking the founding of Terminus was driven in the ground in 1837 and was called the “Zero Mile Post.” A settlement grew around the post, and Atlanta became the rail hub for the entire southern United States, eventually becoming the place where 7 million people call home today.

Mike consults with clients on a broad range of long-term, personalized wealth planning strategies, in addition to overseeing portfolio design. He has spent over 30 years in the financial services industry advising private clients.

Mike earned his B.A. in Business Administration and a minor degree in Labor Relations from Providence College, where he was captain of the Division 1 lacrosse team.
In his free time, Mike enjoys reading, golfing, playing ice hockey, and volunteering his time as a board member with Interfaith Outreach Homes. He currently resides in Sandy Springs with his wife, Jocelyn. He has two sons, Matt, a private equity associate with Fulcrum Equity Partners in Atlanta, and Chris, who is an advisor with The Zero Mile Post Group at Morgan Stanley.
