About Steven Wurzer

As people move through the different seasons of their lives, some of them find themselves in a place where they never intended to be. A place where they have lost their financial freedom. In fact, this is what happened to my parents. It was painful and humiliating for them. I become determined to do everything I could to help ensure that our clients don't have to experience that situation in their lives.

We seek to accomplish that by creating a comprehensive financial plan, and we implement that plan using a customized investment strategy designed specifically to help meet each person’s unique life goals and objectives.

This financial plan and investment strategy focuses on helping clients to make quality decisions with their money based on facts, not emotion. About Cole Wurzer

Trying to answer the age old question of “What do you want to do with your life?” my answer came easy- help people.

My environment set me on this path. My parents instilled in me the basis to give and to care. This was not meant to be a circumstantial behavior, but rather a way to live our lives every day. My mother explained to me the “Golden Rule”, and I witnessed my father provide service and counsel to family, friends and strangers alike. It is a part of them, and now me.

Thinking about some of the most important things in people’s lives: Family, philanthropy and overall heath and well-being - I tried to identify a way in which I could make a meaningful impact in people’s lives with regard to those important topics. I realized they all have one common thread.

They all require very thoughtful and intentional financial stewardship in order to obtain a level of sustainable prosperity in each of those facets. As a financial advisor, I get the opportunity to help guide people down that path of sustainability and on our team, that all begins with extensive and comprehensive financial planning. We have found that one of the keys to financial success is having a plan that allows people to make decisions based on facts and logic rather than emotion. This financial plan is implemented with a customized investment strategy designed to help meet people’s unique goals.

Our team’s process has proven to allow our clients the confidence to know that they are on track financially, and that they have a team of professionals looking out for their financial wellbeing.

About Marlys Lord Carlson

As I look back on my career, I remind myself that 20 years ago, I knew nothing about the stock market world. Fast forward to today, my experience has helped me to recognize when new clients are faced with the same scenario. I am now able to empathize with them when beginning their financial journey.

Although I have many roles within The Wurzer Group, working with beneficiaries of long-term clients is my primary passion as a Wealth Management Associate at Morgan Stanley. Seeing one’s legacy pass onto another is the goal that we have been fortunate to achieve with many of our clients. The look on a client’s face when realizing their newfound fortune is something I never take for granted. Building those lasting relationships is where The Wurzer Group shines above all others.

Integrity drives me to continually improve my knowledge and experience to help others and has transformed me to becoming a substantial resource for our team. I cherish relationship building every day with our clients as customer service has always been my forte and I strive to continuously improve it.

While The Wurzer Group’s home office is in Fargo, North Dakota, my adoration for the beautiful outdoors has me living in the heart of lake country in Minnesota. With an eye for detail, following and capturing the migration of waterfowl through my camera lens is my serenity. Fishing, hunting, and spending as much time as possible with her family are things I treasure most when away from the office.

About Lindsey Herda

Many people underestimate the power of small gestures and the impact they have, when in reality, they can create a lasting impression.

Experiencing this first-hand, I have committed to ensuring that these seemingly trivial gestures do not get overlooked. Often, they take only a moment, but their impact can be felt long after.
This commitment started by volunteering at a local animal shelter and giving back to the community, particularly to those in need.

I’ve been able to carry this mind-set over to my role as a client service associate to provide the best client experience and always try to make a difference.

Although my time in the finance industry isn’t as long as others, I have quickly learned that the extra helping hand for a client can make a world of a difference to them. Assisting a client through the various obstacles they may come across when implementing their financial strategies and making it known you will be there for them through the end is what can really give them the confidence they need. I’m happy to help and to provide that support.
