We invite you to use the resources on this page to better understand our financial planning process and tools.
    Icon Image
Step 1: Getting To Know Each Other
Our financial planning process always begins with getting to know you and the people in your financial life. A thorough understanding of you and your family's financial needs will help us act accordingly. We seek to establish life-long relationships built on a foundation of respect, integrity and exceptional client service.

LifeView® is a registered service of Morgan Stanley & Company and used under license. Morgan Stanley Advisors are not legal or tax advisors.

Step 2: Gather & Analyze Current Financial Situation
After getting to know you, we will review your most recent financial documents to gain a more comprehensive understanding of your financial picture. This may include a review of your balance sheets, current statements, or estate plans depending on the client.
    Icon Image
    Aladdin - Intelligent Risk Management
Aladdin offers a comprehensive view of your financial risk. We use this tool to get a detailed analysis of risk for each individual product.
    Icon Image
Step 3: Present Your Custom Financial Plan
Once a preliminary version of your plan has been created, we will meet to discuss investment recommendations, fees, and fiduciary responsibilities.
    Icon Image
    Intelligent Withdrawals
Intelligent Withdrawal gives us the ability to look across multiple accounts and products to identify the right combination of securities and tax lots to sell so you can help meet spending needs while making the most out of your hard-earned money.

    Step 4: Implement Plan
As you transfer your assets to the firm, we will work to implement your financial plan.
    Icon Image
    The Monte Carlo
The Monte Carlo simulation is a mathematical technique that predicts possible outcomes of an uncertain event. This helps us understand the impact of risk and uncertainty. Instead of taking an average rate of return and assuming that's what you're going to constantly see in the future, it runs a number of different possibilities and outcomes and gives us a rate of success. This is important because we know that the market varies with different rates of return every year.
    Icon Image
Step 5: Comprehensive Review & Ongoing Monitoring
Throughout your time as a client, we will meet regularly to reevaluate your plan and discuss your portfolio. We aim to remain in consistent communication to ensure full transparency and we always encourage our clients to reach out with financial questions.

    Morgan Stanley Impact Quotient™
The Morgan Stanley Impact Quotient™ application gives Wealth Management clients new customizable insights into the social and environmental impact of their investment portfolios.

Alternatives

Tom Wick, Alternative Investment Director, provides individuals and institutions access to world-class alternative investment strategies spanning private equity, real assets, private credit, hedge funds and digital assets.

These strategies may deliver differentiated sources of return relative to traditional equity and fixed income investments, as well as offer potential for tax efficiency.
    Icon Image
    Real Estate
Private Real Estate's goal is to diversify your portfolio with a non-correlated, inflation-resistant real asset which can provide tax advantaged income as well as potential for appreciation. The funds we use are well diversified by both property type and location, focused on high quality assets with high occupancy rates.
    Icon Image
    Private Equity
Private Equity serves as an excellent diversifier and potential return enhancer in one’s portfolio. Particularly, as analysts predict that companies will stay private longer, and public market return expectations decline compared with the past decade, we believe Private Equity can provide clients with excellent risk/reward metrics when compared to public markets.
    Icon Image
    Hedge Funds
Hedge funds can provide low or non-correlated sources of returns in your portfolio – we generally focus on managers that aim to provide positive returns in a variety of markets with relatively low volatility. Our primary hedge funds can provide profit from global macro swings, political/economic events, and when differences occur between an asset's price and it's intrinsic value.
    Icon Image
    Private Credit
Private credit can be thought of as the private equivalent to bonds – these investments are income focused, and serve the purpose of further reducing correlation and volatility in your portfolio.

Diversification does not guarantee a profit or protect against loss in a declining financial market.
