Our team is very active in the community we serve, working with the Olivet Boys and Girls Club, The Children’s Home of Reading, The Make-A-Wish Foundation, and The Opportunity House.  We also participate in the Habitat for Humanity program and are active in our local churches.  Tom's charitable dedication has recently been recognized by the firm’s corporate headquarters winning the Community Leadership Award.  He was also recognized by the Olivet Boys and Girls Club in May of 2015 where he was presented with the Champion of Youth Award.

America's Second Harvest
America’s Second Harvest provides hunger relief throughout Coastal Georgia to more than 143,000 people in need. Tom volunteers at the Kids Café providing at-risk children a nutritious evening meal. Participating children are served hot, balanced meals at an after-school program where they are safe and supervised during the afternoon hours. The program also provides tutoring, homework assistance and a safe haven for children in need.
InvestWrite
Adam volunteered as a Judge for the Investwrite essay contest. InvestWrite® is an innovative national writing competition, sponsored by the SIFMA Foundation, for students in 4th through 12th grade. InvestWrite integrates critical thinking and language arts components that help reinforce the financial decision-making skills that students learn in the classroom while using The Stock Market Game™ program. Our Team believes that learning investing and financial skills is critical for the next generation’s financial future.
CEPAC Food Drive
This holiday season, our team will be participating in the CEPAC Food Drive. We will be giving back to our local communities. Your donations will make a difference to families who need extra help making the season bright. Please see the list of requested items that we will be collecting at our Wyomissing branch.
Salvation Army Angels
Our team participated in the Salvation Army Angels again this year. The Salvation Army Angel Tree program helps provide Christmas gifts for hundreds of thousands of children around the country each year. Once a child or senior adult has been registered and accepted as an Angel their Christmas wish list is shared with donors in your community who purchase gifts of new clothing and toys.

About Thomas White

Thomas White is a Senior Vice President who has been working as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley since 1994.  He concentrates on developing investment strategies and portfolio management plans for high net worth individuals, business owners and professionals. Tom focuses on the overall investment recommendations for clients beginning with a full financial plan which covers cash flow needs, debt management and risk assessment.  The financial plan, together with Morgan Stanley’s economic forecasts and client needs, leads to a customized investment plan.  He has been named a 5-star advisor by Philadelphia Magazine in 2012, 2013 and 2014 and is a member of the prestigious Morgan Stanley Masters Club. He was also named one of the Best in State Wealth Advisors for 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023 by Forbes Magazine. His investment and advisory registrations include FINRA Series 7, 31, and 63 licenses and he holds Pennsylvania Life, Accident and Insurance licenses.

About Mark C Chaffe

At Morgan Stanley Mark provides investment advice, monitoring, performance reporting and financial planning for his clients. A major focus of his practice is retirement planning which involves 401k and pension rollovers, IRA accounts and retirement income.

Between 1998 and 2006 Mr. Chaffe provided investment analysis and commentary for television (Lehigh Valley PBS Tempo, BCTV Bringing Wall Street to Penn Street and Berks County News Weekly Edition) as well as radio, taught investment classes for the Alvernia Senior College and wrote investment articles for the Reading Eagle Times.

Mr. Chaffe graduated Summa Cum Laude from Albright College. He has been active in Rotary, Meals on Wheels and has chaired the finance Committee for the Berks County Senior Citizens Council (now Berks Encore 2001-2004). Mark was a board member and coach with Wyomissing Little League Baseball from 2006 to 2012.

Prior to working for Morgan Stanley Mark served with the United States Coast Guard. His primary activities during this time were Drug Interdiction and Search & Rescue between Cuba and Venezuela. Mark was twice awarded Special Operations Ribbons and a Meritorious Unit commendation. He is a graduate of the National Search and Rescue School and was subsequently assigned his own vessel and crew patrolling the harbor of New York City by the age of twenty-two.

Mark has been a Financial Advisor for over twenty-eight years and his assistant, Deborah Kochel, has over thirty years of experience. Her direct dial is 610-478-4517. Both Mark and Deb have remained with their prior firm through various mergers and acquisitions.

About Adam Lord

Adam is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM, Certified Investment Management Analyst® as well as a Wealth Advisor, who focuses on estate and retirement planning strategies in addition to wealth accumulation and preservation strategies. He focuses on asset allocation models, financial plan integration, qualified plan distributions, and professional investment management.  Adam primarily works with individuals to create personalized financial plans for clients and their families.  He earned the CERTIFED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®) designation in 2006 and continues to meet the requirements to hold the designation.  He has also earned Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Advisor designation in 2009 and named a Portfolio Manager in 2011.  Working with a Portfolio Manager gives clients direct access to the individual managing the investments within the account, something unavailable to most retail clients dealing with a portfolio of mutual funds.  Recently, Adam completed the Yale School of Management and acquired his CIMA® designation.

Adam is a graduate of the E.
