Wealth Management

Managed Solutions
Portfolio Management provides clients with an exceptional level of service. It allows us to create and manage custom investment portfolios tailored to meet client needs and wants. This type of account grants your financial advisor discretionary trading authority, which allows us to focus on maximizing an account’s return in a couple of ways.

Capital Appreciation – Our main investment philosophy is to invest in Best-in-Breed companies. Many of these well-known companies are utilized by clients every day. One major commonality is innovation within their market. Actively trading in and out of these stocks at different times based on technical and company specific factors allows us to create generational wealth for our clients.

Income Generation - Generating income in a portfolio can come from many different strategies. We consider your specific situation and create a strategy that aligns with your goals. Depending on your situation and the current economic environment we may suggest things such as laddering bonds or building a portfolio of high yielding equities or ETFs.
Non-managed Solutions
Employing a buy and hold strategy has its benefits depending on a client’s situation. Many times, we pair this strategy with Portfolio Management. This type of account is client directed so usually involves less active trading and allows us to hold investments that clients do not plan to sell in the near future. Some of the investments held in this type of account are as follows.

Alternative Investments – The alternative investment world is rapidly expanding as many alternative asset managers are coming out with more retail friendly offerings. These products give clients exposure to different asset classes that are usually not directly correlated to stock and bond markets and can provide competitive returns.

Alternative Investments are speculative and include a high degree of risk. An investor could lose all or a substantial amount of his/her investment. Alternative investments are appropriate only for qualified, long-term investors who are willing to forgo liquidity and put capital at risk for an indefinite period of time.

Insured Products – Cash management is more important than ever. For the first time in decades cash and cash equivalents are an investible asset class. We utilize different tools such as CDs, treasuries and money markets to bring your entire financial picture together and keep cash working as hard as possible for clients. We do this with savings and working capital for personal and business assets.

Appreciated Positions – As time moves on clients may develop appreciated positions that they do not plan to sell in the near future for different reasons. Holding positions that a client doesn’t want to sell in the near future allows us to bring a client’s financial picture together and continue working towards meeting their goals by handling these investments with care and in the most efficient manner.

Health & Life Insurance (Including Annuities & Variable Contracts)

Insurance comes in many different shapes and sizes based on an individual’s situation. Here at Morgan Stanley we offer many different types of insurance and work with you to design a product that meets your specific needs. Whether it’s life insurance, disability income insurance, long-term care insurance, or annuities, Morgan Stanley can help you access these products in conjunction with its licensed insurance agency affiliates. We encourage you to call us to discuss your specific situation.

Finding your comfort level

At Morgan Stanley we take a unique approach to client onboarding. Our process begins with identifying your wants and needs and ends with a custom portfolio that encompasses your entire financial picture. When potential clients reach out to us, one of two things will happen. They will either walk away feeling confident about their portfolio or we will have found somewhere to add value. We start by reviewing your current financial picture and then consider the best ways to potentially reach your goals. Depending on your situation, the process can vary a bit from there. We may start with investing, insurance or cash management and lending solutions. During this first step is when the planning process will begin. Morgan Stanley provides us access to some of the best planning software available. We can plan for retirement, a large purchase or anything else that comes to mind. Your plan, just as your portfolio will change as your life changes and from portfolio review meetings to many other forms of engagement, we will be there to guide you along the way.

7Participating in a new issue/syndicate is subject to availability. IPOs are highly speculative and may not be appropriate for all investors because they lack a stock-trading history and usually involve smaller and newer companies that tend to have limited operating histories, less-experienced management teams, and fewer products or customers. Also, the offering price of an IPO reflects a negotiated estimate as to the value of the company, which may bear little relationship to the trading price of the securities, and it is not uncommon for the closing price of the shares shortly after the IPO to be well above or below the offering price.
