Meet The Water View Group

About Kirk Thode

Kirk joined Morgan Stanley in 2006 as a Financial Advisor. Starting as an advisor just prior to the 2008 financial crisis keeps him grounded when making investment decisions, knowing full well the power and speed at which the market can move. In 2009 he earned his Certified Financial Planner Practitioner designation; one of the highest in the planning community giving him a depth and breadth of knowledge in all financial aspects of an individual’s life. From investments to insurance, estate planning strategies to tax planning strategies, Kirk and his team focus on comprehensive financial planning strategies to help craft the best possible outcome in reaching client goals. After completing his CFP, he went back to school and earned a master's degree in Applied Economics from Marquette University, where he wrote his thesis on the European Debt Crisis that plagued Greece from 2011-12.

Kirk focuses his time working with individual business owners and their family wealth, with a focus on small service-based businesses such as Dental Offices. Another area of focus is on income planning for individual retiree's as they navigate through retirement.

In his off-time Kirk enjoys following and playing soccer, the love that brought him to Milwaukee (he was the starting goalkeeper for UW-Milwaukee during his time there).

About Nick Gomez

Nick is a Financial Advisor, Financial Planning Specialist has more than 10 years of experience in the investment and financial planning industry.

Prior to Morgan Stanley, Nick was a Director, Private Wealth Advisor in BMO’s Private Bank and spent six years in private wealth management at Robert W. Baird. Nick received a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Master of Business Administration with a finance concentration from Concordia University. He is an Army Veteran, serving in the Wisconsin Army National Guard from 2011-2021, with two combat deployments as a HIMARS crewmember to the Middle East, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Spartan Shield.

Nick focuses his time working with business owners to help transition, preserve, and protect their wealth. Moreover, engaging with corporate executives to help you align your equity compensation strategy with your broader financial goals.

Outside of his work with Morgan Stanley, Nick is passionate about giving back to the community. He is a board member at Wisconsin Veterans Network, President of UWM’s Veteran Alumni Chapter, and member of the Safety Committee at Lumen Christi Catholic Church in Mequon.

He lives with his wife Favi and their children Isa, Nico, and Sophia in Bayside. In his free time, he enjoys, lifting, golfing, watching his kids play hockey, and family vacations.

Jackie has over 26 years of financial services experience, with 21 of them here at Morgan Stanley. She has held various positions within operations & advisor support. Tyson R. Abert is a Senior Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in Wisconsin, Northern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.

Senior Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.

Tyson began his career in financial services in 2004, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2018. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a Business Development Manager and a Senior Relationship Manager at Wells Fargo’s Commercial Banking Services.

Tyson is a graduate of Illinois State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting, and Lake Forest Graduate School of Management where he received a Master of Business Administration. He and his family currently reside right outside Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Outside of the office, Tyson enjoys golfing, hunting, boating, fishing, and spending time with his family.
