Our Consultative Process

Charting a prudent course to financial independence begins with a well-crafted wealth management plan, a prudent investment philosophy and a proven process that is followed with diligence and care. Our four-step process provides the context to develop and implement highly customized strategies designed to help you attain your specific financial goals.
    Icon Image
    1. Discovery
During the discovery discussion, we will ask many questions to understand what matters most to you. We’ll talk about the lifestyle you enjoy, your passions and your concerns. Our conversation will also explore personal values, key relationships, details about your current investment portfolio, preferred manner of communication, as well as identify the other professional advisors with whom you currently work. Capturing all of this information will enable us to map out a long-term strategy, ensuring each facet of your financial situation is working together effectively.
    Icon Image
    2. Analysis and Recommendation
Based on our dialogue, we will analyze your personal and financial information, assess risks and identify any potential threats to your financial health. We will then present appropriate investment options that are designed to work together to help grow your portfolio and achieve your financial goals. We may also present several wealth management recommendations that often encompass cash flow management strategies, risk management solutions, as well as estate, trust and philanthropic services.
    Icon Image
    3. Implementation
Once you’ve approved your wealth management plan, we will work closely with you to help ensure the various elements of your plan integrate well with one another. Wherever appropriate, we will suggest seeking additional, in-depth advice on particularly complex issues we have identified, such as estate planning and tax minimization strategies. Whatever approach we implement, we will help keep your strategy on track.
    Icon Image
    4. Reviewing Objectives
Ongoing communication is a vital component of our relationship and we are committed to keeping abreast of your changing financial needs. Your financial documents provide the foundation for regular meetings. We will review your portfolio at your request and whenever you feel your circumstances have changed. We will then seek to make certain your assets are positioned according to your evolving needs. If necessary, we will suggest adjustments to your strategy to address changes in your life or your long-term objectives.

About Anne-Marie McCullough

Anne-Marie has 26 years of experience and an array of skills and knowledge to provide the best support possible for the team and our clients. Her main goal is to ensure that every client is respected as an individual and never treated as simply a number.

Anne-Marie graduated from Indiana Christian Academy in Anderson and then attended ITT Technical Institute where she received her legal secretarial degree. She began in the finance industry in 1995 when she joined Smith Barney at their downtown Indianapolis office. She was then with Morgan Stanley from 2007 to 2019, and is very excited to be back.

In her spare time, you can find Anne-Marie at Hilbert Circle Theatre listening to the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, attending Symphony on the Prairie at Conner Prairie, or at the Music in the Park concert series. She also enjoys going to state parks and is very active within her church.

About Amelia Warren

Amelia was born in Florida but has spent the majority of her life here in Indiana, although she will tell you that the ocean still calls her name. She attended DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana and earned a Bachelor of Arts. While there, her academics were focused on her major, art history, and her two minors, education studies and anthropology. She filled her time at DePauw with three honor societies, running DePauw’s chapter of a collegiate magazine, mentoring and tutoring at-risk youth, and volunteering at the university’s art galleries. Her summers during college were spent interning at a non-profit, the Saint Louis Art Museum, and Morgan Stanley where she learned a vast array of skills.

After graduation, she was rehired by DePauw University to finish the work she started in her final semester, and a few months later, her work was published and she became an accredited curator of Infinite Splendor, Infinite Light: The Bruce Walker ’53 Collection of Tibetan Religious Art. After her time in the art world, Amelia returned home to work on the family horse farm as the Marketing Manager, where she helped to promote horses and the breeding program until then joining the Warren Group.

When she is not working, Amelia can usually be found spending time with the horses, volunteering, starting up a new art project, or exploring with her beloved doodle, Benson.

7Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan’s investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan’s flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan’s investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state’s own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state’s tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice. Investors should review a Program Disclosure Statement, which contains more information on investment options, risk factors, fees and expenses and possible tax consequences.
