About Sam Pearson
Born and raised in Fort Valley, Georgia, Sam learned many valuable lessons while working in the fields, orchards, and packing facilities of his family's third generation farm. After graduating from the Westfield Schools in Perry, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Georgia.
As he nears his thirtieth year in the financial services industry, Sam uses his past banking experience and years of guiding clients through periods of difficult economic conditions as lessons to help him create valuable solutions for his current clientele. He has experience working with individuals and families as well as endowments, small businesses, and larger companies.
In 2005, Governor Sonny Perdue appointed Sam as Trustee of the Public School Employees' Retirement System of Georgia. Sam is a member of the Macon Civic Club as well as Idle Hour Golf and Country Club, where he served as President in 2018 and continues to serve on various committees. In the past, Sam served on the Finance Committee at Highland Hills Baptist Church where he and his family are members.
Sam and his wife, Molly, live in Macon. They have one daughter, Cassidy, a recent graduate of UGA living in Columbus, Georgia, and one son, Clay, currently attending UGA. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys his time outdoors, fishing, hunting, golfing, and watching UGA football.
