About Me

Dexter Walker is an Executive Director and Senior Portfolio Management Director with Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management division. Prior to joining the firm in 1998, Dexter worked at Friedman Billings Ramsey in Institutional Equity Sales.  In addition to building his practice at Morgan Stanley, he led the training and development program for the Washington D.C. complex for many years, and was the manager of the Annapolis Maryland office. In 2016 Dexter was named among the top 400 advisors by the Financial Times. 

Dexter and his wife live in Maryland. They have four children whom Dexter adores, coaches, and actively helps to raise. He is active in a number of charitable causes including Fair Chance, the Somerset Foundation, and the Wendt Center.  He is an avid squash and golf enthusiast, and enjoys historical business and biography reading.
