Our Story and Services

Rigorous. Disciplined. Accountable. When you’re looking for a team to help manage your wealth, these traits are crucial. Why? Because you’ve worked hard for your achievements and deserve guidance that can help work hard for you and the future you envision.

With more than 25 years of experience behind us and many more ahead, we design highly customized financial plans and sophisticated investment strategies that are thoughtful, well-researched, and meticulously monitored.

We believe in performance, and with Senior Portfolio Management Director and Portfolio Management Associate Director credentials, we are among a select group of Morgan Stanley advisors who take a hands-on approach to the markets on a discretionary basis; doing our own research, analysis, and portfolio construction.

We also believe in knowing exactly where your money is, what it’s doing, and why. That’s why we assist our clients in creating their own custom Investment Policy Statement.

Above all, we’re committed to building a long-lasting relationship with you and your family that is built on respect, trust, and a deep understanding of your goals and values.

If you’d like a second opinion about your investments or would like to chat about your financial future, please call us at (212)-883-8588.

WHAT WE DO

We are systematic, but not formulaic. We guide clients through a wide range of financial issues that require careful attention, sophisticated resources, and a keen understanding of market complexities. Our process is methodical, transparent, and focused on one thing: you.
    We listen.
We begin with a deep understanding of your current situation, your goals, and your personal preferences – your risk tolerance, liquidity needs, long-term objectives, and tax and estate planning requirements.
    We inform.
In addition to your allocation engine, we formalize our understanding of your needs and goals into a comprehensive, personalized “Investment Roadmap.” This serves as a main point of reference for every investment decision and adjustment along the way.
    We research.
We are passionate about studying the markets. Along with our own research and analysis, we take full advantage of Morgan Stanley’s industry-leading global resources, technology, and trading platforms. This helps us design financial strategies that are insightful, informed, and focused on your unique needs and risk tolerance.
    We monitor.
We make adjustments as needed to make sure your investment strategy stays aligned with your evolving objectives. We monitor overall portfolio performance as well as individual company earnings reports and macroeconomic data. We aggregate the data, assess performance, and modify as needed.
    We build.
Your “allocation engine” is a detailed spreadsheet describing how we propose to invest your money. It takes into account your finances, insurance, long-term care needs, and estate planning. It’s designed to show you where you are, where you’re headed, and how we plan to help get you there.

OUR BELIEFS

We Believe:
  • We believe that the most successful portfolio is one personalized to your goals and grounded in rigorous research.
  • We believe that portfolio performance matters. Because your goals matter. We stay disciplined and focused because growing your wealth helps get you closer to your dreams.
  • We believe in being good listeners. Smart wealth management strategies do not come in “one-size-fits-all.”
  • We believe in the power of diversity. Embracing diverse perspectives helps us better serve our clients and makes us a stronger team.
  • We believe in building long lasting relationships that span generations. By educating your sons and daughters we can get them started on the right foot.
  • We believe in transparency. We’re straightforward about fees and costs – we don’t want there to be any surprises, ever.

PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT

With Senior Portfolio Management Director and Portfolio Management Associate Director credentials, we have the necessary investment accreditation that allows us to manage client assets in a discretionary manner.

We are passionate about studying the markets and thrive on the challenge because it means we get to be the student and the teacher: we’re always learning, always growing, and always sharing our knowledge.

Our aim is simple: to focus on outperforming the market while minimizing risk. And our process is dispassionate: we follow an academic, research-oriented approach that is systematic, thoughtful, and meticulous.
    We select.
Our goal is to design portfolios that are durable over time. Performance matters.
    We rebalance.
What works well today, may not work well 3 months from now. Our algorithms help us adhere to our long term strategy and avoid portfolio drift.
    We monitor.
We continue to study ongoing analyst reports, quarterly earnings reports, and other significant corporate announcements and events, assessing and retooling when needed.
    We manage risk.
No one should presume to know what will happen with the markets. That’s why we build in risk-mitigating strategies, such as dollar-cost averaging and rigorous rebalancing programs to maintain allocation.
    Disclaimers:
Any type of continuous or periodic investment plan does not assure a profit and does not protect against loss in declining markets. Since such a plan involves continuous investment in securities regardless of fluctuating price levels of such securities, the investor should consider his financial ability to continue his purchases through periods of low price levels.

Rebalancing does not protect against a loss in declining financial markets. There may be a potential tax implication with a rebalancing strategy. Investors should consult with their tax advisor before implementing such a strategy.

OUR CLIENTS

    Who We Serve
We help a select group of families and individuals navigate a variety of wealth management challenges. We serve corporate executives, business owners, and high net-worth families. But no matter their background, we provide our clients a thoughtful approach to financial planning and value our well-researched, proprietary portfolio management.
    Helping you Protect your legacy.
Industry statistics tell us that wealth barely survives the next generation. Why? Because the transfer of wealth is not just a financial transaction. That’s why we proudly build enduring relationships across generations. We’re in this for the long haul – we have the youth and stamina to help families through important life stages so they can preserve their shared values and legacy goals. We take pride in educating our clients’ children and grandchildren on their investments and financial health so that the next generation can get started off on the right foot.
    We thrive on diversity.
We recognize the value of bringing diversity to the table. Embracing our own diverse perspectives and experiences makes us a stronger team, and we are better able to serve our clients and help them reach their goals. Empowering clients of varied backgrounds with access to financial guidance and sophisticated resources is important to us. It can be life changing.
