About Thomas E Moore III

Drawing on more than 40 years of diverse financial services industry experience, Thomas Moore crafts highly customized investment strategies for a national clientele of private clients, foundations and endowments. Delivering comprehensive wealth management solutions, Thomas produces sophisticated asset allocation strategies, provides guidance on multigenerational wealth transfer plans, and oversees various types of global equity, fixed income and alternative product portfolios.

Thomas joined Morgan Stanley from First Republic Private Wealth Management, where he spent 10 years working with high-achieving entrepreneurs, executives and their families. Earlier in his career, he served as a Director and Investment Representative with Barclays Wealth for five years and as a Principal and Financial Advisor with Bernstein Global Wealth Management from 1998 to 2009. At all three of these firms, he advised and managed investments for sophisticated U.S. and global client relationships. From 1988 to 1998 Thomas was with the New York Stock Exchange, where, as a Managing Director, he was responsible for U.S. new business development and strategies, managing U.S. listed company relationships. He also served as a member of the NYSE Eligibility Review Committee charged with reviewing the qualifications of companies and approving their listings. He began his career as a Credit and Lending Officer with several New York-based money center banks, including The Bank of New York and Citibank, completing Citibank’s extensive Credit Training Program. Thomas earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Stanford University in 1981.

Thomas is very active in numerous educational, cultural and charitable organizations. He currently serves as an advisory council member of the Stanford University Center on Longevity, an executive board member of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, a trustee of New Art Publications, Inc., and a board member of United World Schools, USA.

About Jason Novak

Jason Novak brings ten years of experience to the service of the team’s clients, assisting in the construction of investment portfolios and the creation and implementation of comprehensive financial plans. Working to build enduring financial relationship, Jason works to develop a nuanced understanding of his clients’ needs and goals so he can offer advice across virtually every aspect of their financial lives.
Prior to joining the team at Morgan Stanly in 2023, Jason served as a Senior Relationship Manager at First Republic Bank. He earned his B.S. in business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
Born and raised in Miami, Jason is fluent is Spanish as well as English. He currently lives in Brooklyn, enjoying the cultural life of New York City as Young Patron of Lincoln Center. Jason loves to spend his free time outdoors, particularly out on the water.

About Magdalene Rowan

A financial services industry veteran of more than 20 years, Maggie Rowan plays a central role in managing the team’s operations. Maggie is responsible for an extensive scope of duties that range from the prompt handling of service requests to portfolio reviews and transaction execution. An Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor, she also offers advice on complex estate planning.

Maggie has worked alongside Thomas Moore since 2004, helping to build a successful practice
at AllianceBernstein, Barclays and First Republic. She moved with the team to Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management in 2023.

Maggie grew up in Clifton, New Jersey, speaking English and Polish, and attended the University of Rochester, where earned a B.S. in political science and economics. She now lives in Essex Fells with her husband, two sons and their rescue dog. She enjoys a broad range of outdoor family activities, including skiing, hiking and traveling to her sons’ baseball and soccer games.

About Jakob Slavin

Responsible for an extensive range of administrative and operational duties, Jake Slavin contributes to an outstanding overall service experience for clients of The Summerfield Group. Often serving as a first point of contact, Jake executes trades, facilitates money movement transactions and responds to an extensive variety of service requests.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Jake served as a Registered Private Wealth Portfolio Associate at First Republic Private Wealth Management. He began his financial services career in the UBS Financial Advisor training program after graduating from Augustana College with a degree in finance and economics.

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, and raised in the Chicago suburbs, Jake now lives in New York with his Norwegian Elkhound, Odin. He is active in the community, volunteering with the Special Olympics and serving as a director of Timeout 4 Kids.

About Charlotte Ogden Moore

Charlotte Ogden Moore supports the team’s advisors in growing the practice and delivering an outstanding service experience. Among her many responsibilities, Charlotte assists in the construction of highly tailored investment portfolios, conducts risk assessments, prepares proposals for current and prospective clients, and handles fund transfers, stock donations and other transactions. She often serves as the first point of contact, connecting clients to whatever capabilities are needed to address their needs.

Charlotte came to Morgan Stanley from JPMorgan, where she served as an International Private Banking Analyst. She began her career at UBS as an Investment Banking Analyst.

Born and raised in San Francisco, Charlotte danced with the San Francisco Ballet for 16 years. She danced Clara in productions of The Nutcracker, among many other featured roles, but ultimately decided to attend college rather than pursue a professional dance career. Charlotte enrolled at the University of Southern California, then transferred to Georgetown University, where she earned her B.A.

When not at work, Charlotte enjoys cooking, exercising, long walks and international travel.
