About Robert A Stofa

Robert A. Stofa is a Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor and a member of The Centerville Group at Morgan Stanley. He brings nearly thirty years of professional and investment experience to The Centerville Group. Rob is responsible for managing client relationships; he also brings extensive knowledge of insurance, annuity, and long term care products.

After dedicating fifteen years to his independent practice at Wilmington Trust, Rob began working at Morgan Stanley when Wilmington Trust merged with M&T in 2011. Many of his clients elected to make this transition with him to Morgan Stanley. Rob attended The University of Delaware prior to entering the financial services industry in 1995. In 2014, Rob partnered with Financial Advisors Harvey Maclary and Eric Gustafson to form The Centerville Group. The vision behind this collaboration was to strive to provide clients with a comprehensive suite of investment advisory services and a superior client experience.

Rob believes retirement planning means more than providing his clients with investment advice. It means helping them maintain the financial independence they’ve worked their whole lives to achieve. It means striving to ensure they have the means to pursue what’s most important to them. Dottie began her career at Thomson McKinnon in Lake Forest, IL in 1980, then relocated to North East MD in 1990 with her husband Peter and son Danny. She then started working with Dean Witter (now Morgan Stanley) in Greenville, DE in 1995 and in 2016 moved to Smith Barney. She is a graduate of Barat College (now DePaul University) in Lake Forest, IL and enjoys her gardening, traveling, spending time with her family and large extended family.
