About Howard Lerner
Howard Lerner is a Senior Vice President and Wealth Advisor at Morgan Stanley. He also holds the Family Wealth Advisor designation with the Company. Howard began his financial services career at Merrill Lynch in 1987 on the Middle Markets Fixed Income Desk in New York. In 1993 Howard moved to Florida to pursue a career as a Financial Advisor. In 1994, he joined Dean Witter, now Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, where he has served in a variety of roles, including ten years in management serving as a sales manager, branch manager, and complex manager. In 2012, he left his managerial role and formed the Spectrum Group along with Joe and Kate.
Howard has been and is active in Philanthropy having previously sat on boards at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, the Broward Center for Performing Arts, and Equine Assisted Therapies of South Florida. Howard’s charitable work has been memorialized in a video by the Morgan Stanley foundation about his work with Equine Assisted Therapies, his son Asher, and how the MS Foundation helps local organizations that their employees support. In 2017 Howard was nominated for the prestigious Men with Caring Hearts award through the Florence Fuller Child Development Foundation.
Howard lives with his two sons Asher and Jess and when he isn’t working enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his two sons.
