Our Mission Statement
A Purposeful Retirement Planning and Legacy Driven approach to Wealth Management - Intentional actions, centered around a focused outcome, driven by your Life
Managing to Your Life, Not The Markets
Your life is busy, and there is rarely room for the important areas. Let's start there. What is most important to you right now?
Our goal at The Spartan Group is to go beyond traditional retirement planning and investment management to positively alter the course of our clients lives. We want to help people to be good stewards of their finances. We take a family approach to brainstorm together and answer the important questions as it relates to your career, your family, and your goals. We believe that true wealth management and financial planning should start by building a trustworthy relationship and understanding the areas that are most important to you.
Our Spartan planning process is the key to everything that we do, and is a disciplined approach to help maximize the value to our clients lives. After going through the process, you will have a professional and dynamic financial plan that is designed to help bring clarity to your personal financial future. It all starts with helping you define and develop a purpose with your money. We narrow it down to focus on your NEEDS, your WANTS, and Your WISHES. The main goal is to constantly educate you along the way.
Of course what you are invested in and the strategy to achieve your goals is always important. We are well equipped in that area - We have a disciplined investment process backed by Morgan Stanley’s leading intellectual capital and years of experience. However, how we use these resources is driven by our process and what's best for you. The deeper dive that we take into your life will determine what is necessary on the investment side to help achieve your goals to-and-through retirement. Contact us and let's start the conversation.

Direct Indexing - It's not what you make - It's what you keep!
We utilize a combination of active and passive portfolio management, customized according to your goals and your life. Once we determine through our Spartan Planning Process the risk and return you need on your capital, the next action is to determine your custom Asset Allocation and comprehensive strategy. We seek to focus on improving your after-tax returns whenever possible. As a wise man once said, "It's not what you make, but what you keep!"
Morgan Stanley provides us with tremendous intellectual capital and resources to help us create tax-efficient strategies for our clients.
We are proud to have Morgan Stanley's resources available in the direct-indexing space, and when suitable for your financial plan, a portion of your custom strategy may utilize a leading direct indexing approach. The video above walks through this strategy concept. Our team can help you determine what, how and why this may improve your strategy and after-tax return potential.
We do not provide tax advice. All Tax Advice must come from your CPA, which we are happy to coordinate with for your overall strategy.

As the team's CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Tyler's primary focus is on financial planning side to coordinate the planning efforts of the team.
