About Richard Wright
Rick has spent the last 20+ years in the Wealth Management business. Rick’s approach to financial planning is to move beyond the traditional model of primarily building financial resources to achieve client goals like retirement or providing for their families. His risk-management process focuses on identifying things that might occur either specifically to the client or in the world as a whole that might have a negative effect on the financial plan and then implementing a strategy for managing and minimizing those effects. He has also developed a high level of experience in implementing a variety of strategies for creating an income stream for his retired clients so that each client can make an informed decision about the strategy that they are most comfortable with.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Rick’s first career was in the technology industry – starting as a software engineer and ultimately becoming President and C.E.O. of two different technology firms.
Rick graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science in 1978 and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with an Organizational Behavior focus in 1985; both degrees were from the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL. Rick’s industry certifications include being a Certified Financial Planner, a Chartered Financial Consultant, and a Retirement Income Certified Professional.
Rick currently lives in Pensacola, Florida with his wife of 35 years, Debbie. They have one grown daughter, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

7The returns on a portfolio consisting primarily of Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) aware investments may be lower or higher than a portfolio that is more diversified or where decisions are based solely on investment considerations. Because ESG criteria exclude some investments, investors may not be able to take advantage of the same opportunities or market trends as investors that do not use such criteria. Diversification does not guarantee a profit or protect against loss in a declining financial market.
