Personalized Portfolios: Your Portfolio Manager will use his/her discretion to identify an investment strategy tailored to help meet your needs.

Asset-Based Fee*: Fees for the program are based on your account's asset level, not on the number of transactions performed in a given time period.

* The Portfolio Management program account will be charged an annual asset-based fee ("the Fee") which is payable monthly in advance (some account types may be billed differently). About Thaddeus Barnes

Thad works in the creation of our clients most sophisticated financial strategies in addition to co-managing each of The SilverArc Group LifeStyle portfolios.  

Thad is a Certified Financial Planner CFP® and Portfolio Management Director whom began his career in the insurance industry crafting risk management and wealth transfer strategies.  His diverse background assists the clients' of The SilverArc Group in the creation of strategies that cover all aspects of their wealth planning needs.  Thad graduated with a  Bachelor degree in Business Economics from South Dakota State University.

Andrew is a Portfolio Management Director and Senior Investment Management Strategist.  Having joined Morgan Stanley in 1999 Andrew has spent his entire career building relationships and gathering resources within the firm that assists The SilverArc Group in delivering on the needs of their clients.  Andrew attended the University of South Dakota and graduated with a Bachelor degree in Business Finance.

A native of Urbandale, Iowa, Andie graduated from the University of Sioux Falls in 2020 with a degree in business administration and minors in accounting and finance while also playing basketball. Andie joined Morgan Stanley in the fall of 2022 and is a fully licensed associate after passing her Series 7 and 66 exams. In 2024, she earned the designation of Financial Planning Specialist.

Outside of the office, Andie enjoys attending her local CrossFit gym, reading, and traveling around the country visiting family and friends.

Some of these factors include: the Plan's investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan's flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan's investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state's own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state's tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan.
