About Brian D Neunzig
Brian Neunzig is a Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor, and Family Wealth Advisor with The Sierra View Group at Morgan Stanley. In an increasingly complex financial environment, Brian believes effective advice is grounded in structure, perspective, and disciplined planning. With more than 30 years of experience in financial services—including extensive institutional consulting—he helps individuals and families align wealth with goals, risk tolerance, and long-term priorities, while supporting multigenerational continuity.
Brian began his career in 1994 and developed a broad foundation in investments, banking, and financial planning through roles at Merrill Lynch and Bank of America Investment Services (BAIS), a subsidiary of Bank of America. During his tenure at BAIS, Brian worked closely with clients to coordinate banking and investment strategies and also served as Regional Sales Manager for Northern California.
In 2012, Brian joined Graystone Consulting, Morgan Stanley’s institutional consulting platform. There, he worked with high-net-worth families and participated in institutional investment processes and asset management, applying institutional-level disciplines and governance frameworks to private wealth planning. Following his relocation from Santa Rosa to Roseville, California in 2018, Brian co-founded The Sierra View Group, where he continues to serve clients through a consultative, goals-based approach supported by the global resources of Morgan Stanley.
Brian earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, Davis, and completed Executive Education at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation, the Certified Investment Management Analyst™ (CIMA®) designation, and the Family Wealth Advisor designation from Morgan Stanley.
Prior to his career in financial services, Brian served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. He completed officer training in leadership and infantry tactics before earning his Naval Aviator designation. Brian flew rotary-wing aircraft in support of Marines and the Fleet Marine Force and is a proud combat veteran of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
Brian has been married for 39 years and has two adult children. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active outdoors and values the lifelong relationships formed through his service in the Marine Corps.
