The Sentinel Group has been named one of Forbes Magazine Best-In-State Wealth Management Teams for the second consecutive year (2025).*

Our clients are affluent individuals and families who want a guiding hand as they navigate the unique issues associated with attempting to grow and keep multi-generational wealth. We would be honored to speak with you and your family if you are looking for financial advice.

Finding an advisor that intimately understands you can be daunting. And starting those conversations can be intimidating. We are keenly aware of the deep vulnerability it takes to begin a relationship with an advisor, and we view the trust our clients place in us as a gift to be cherished and protected.

Our team has over 75 years of experience navigating the turmoil of the markets and we leverage that experience every day to craft quality portfolios and holistic financial plans for every one of our clients. We strive to create an environment that fosters the deep, personal relationship of a boutique practice while leveraging the unparalleled resources of Morgan Stanley.

We pride ourselves on being accomplished investors that do our own research, choose our own investments, and make independent decisions. This approach provides two distinct advantages:

  1. Gives our team the flexibility to create an investment approach unique to your needs.
  2. Ensures that you are always speaking with the decision makers.

Investment management is only one aspect of a successful approach to wealth management. We believe a critical element is the creation of a holistic financial plan. This plan becomes the foundation of everything we do. By establishing this foundation first, we can then build a customized asset allocation strategy and portfolio aligned with your unique dreams and aspirations.

We believe life can be broken down into two types of questions: "What" questions that help each of us discover our purpose and "How" questions that help each of us achieve that purpose.

"What Questions" look like:

  • What do I want my life to look like in retirement?
  • What do I want my legacy to look like?
  • What gets me up in the morning?
  • What keeps me up at night?

"How Questions" look like:

  • How do I know I am on track to meet my goals?
  • How do I know my family is protected from financial turmoil?
  • How should I be invested to meet my goals?
  • How can I prepare my children and grandchildren to be faithful stewards of our family's wealth?

These are lofty questions that require considerable thought. Our purpose as your trusted advisor is to discover and share the answers to the "How's" so you are free to focus on the "What's". We are proud of the deep and meaningful roles we play in our clients' lives, and we look forward to working with you and your family to create the path towards your brightest/best future.

    About Nick Breitfeller

Nick delivers a meticulous, process-driven approach to financial planning that helps the families that he works with navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and confidence. He believes that effective planning requires both strategic foresight and a deep understanding of each client’s unique financial history. Prior to his career in financial services, Nick worked in a vintage Porsche restoration facility; an environment where every engine component was evaluated with exacting care and specific performance standards. The lessons learned from this experience guide his work with clients today. Just as every engine was disassembled, evaluated, and rebuilt with precision to ensure optimal performance, every financial plan is constructed with a similarly methodical process. Every component of a client’s financial health is examined, integrated, and then monitored with the same attention to detail. The result is a cohesive strategy designed for long-term reliability and performance.

Nick began his career with Morgan Stanley as an intern while studying at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, where he eventually graduated Summa Cum Laude. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, having earned the designation while studying through Emory University. Beyond the office, he enjoys staying active with tennis, reading historical fiction, and exploring new fields of interest.

She brings that sentiment to work through helping clients so that they too can enjoy their “harvest”. Alysia loves to give back by volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and the Atlanta Community Food Bank. She also loves to read, sew, and swim in her spare time. She is series 63 licensed.
