Our Story and Services

The Secemski Group at Morgan Stanley is dedicated to helping individuals, families, business owners, and other professionals navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and confidence. Led by Ken Secemski, Managing Director, Wealth Management Advisor and Portfolio Manager, the team serves clients across the country and abroad with a holistic approach to wealth management that integrates both asset and liability management in support of long-term goals. Ken joined Morgan Stanley in 2026 and brings more than 40 years of experience advising clients on sophisticated planning needs, including retirement planning, tax-efficient wealth accumulation, divorce financial analysis and fiduciary guidance. His work is reinforced by multiple advanced professional credentials—CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®), and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®)—as well as a cum laude accounting degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and executive business management studies at the Wharton School.

Matt complements the team with deep planning and investment expertise as a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) charterholder and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) practitioner, in addition to holding the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) and Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) designations. With more than a decade of industry experience and prior service as a Financial Planning Director at Morgan Stanley, Matt brings a strong focus on high-net-worth planning, next-generation wealth accumulation and intergenerational strategies.

Together, the team acts as the “quarterback” of a client’s full financial picture—starting with a discovery-based planning process to gather key information and define priorities, then aligning investments with tax-aware strategies, retirement income planning, estate planning strategies (coordinated with clients’ legal and tax professionals as appropriate), cash management and lending solutions, and equity compensation and stock option planning.

A defining part of The Secemski Group’s culture is community connection; Ken and Matt are actively involved in local organizations and charitable efforts, reflecting a longstanding commitment to giving back and staying closely connected to the communities they serve. Ken has also been recognized on Forbes’ Best-in-State Wealth Advisors list in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 (published annually between January and April, based on data as of June 30 of the prior year).
