MAKERS Conference
MAKERS is a television and digital video initiative by PBS and AOL that aims to be the largest collection of women’s stories ever assembled. Morgan Stanley Wealth Management is a founding partner of MAKERS, which encourages corporations to celebrate and acknowledge their leading women employees. In March of 2014 Cindy Corbett was nominated by a panel of senior managers that selected her along with 14 other women to be recognized initially as part of the MAKERS initiative. About Cindy L Corbett

Cindy Corbett is a Financial Advisor, Executive Director and Senior Portfolio Management Director with The Sapphire Group at Morgan Stanley in Chapel Hill, N.C. She uses her more than 30 years of experience in serving the wealth management needs of her clients, consisting mainly of individuals and many multigenerational families.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, she delivers holistic financial planning strategies that encompass retirement, education, asset management, philanthropic goals and insurance needs. In addition to financial planning, she also focuses on portfolio management. A self-proclaimed “geek” and student of the market, she emphasizes the need for constant education, both for herself and her clients, and takes pride in empowering clients with knowledge, regardless of their level of experience with investments.
Cindy’s entire career in wealth management has been with Morgan Stanley and its predecessor firms, where early on she was recognized as part of an elite group of advisors to be awarded the Blue-Chip Council designation. She continued to achieve various other club designations throughout her 30-plus years.

Cindy graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Business Management and Applied Economics and moved to North Carolina shortly after graduation.

In 1995, she married her husband Johnny, a native of Raleigh, and they built the home where they still live today. Cindy enjoys all kinds of sports, both playing and watching. She is an avid New York Giants fan, a passion she shares with her family of native New Yorkers. Family and friends play a significant role in Cindy’s life, and she spends a great deal of time with them.

About Autumn B Yamamura

Deeply influenced by her parents and grandparents, who taught her the power of financial independence and the importance of a strong work ethic, Autumn chose to become a Financial Advisor in 1996. Today, she remains dedicated to making a significant impact on the lives of her clients and their families by helping them plan and prepare for all of life’s transitions.

To do so, she leverages her more than 25 years of experience spanning a variety of leadership positions at the firm. She worked her way up through the management ranks, including promotions to Branch Manager, Regional Business Services Officer and Regional Business Development Manager in numerous markets, including Colorado, Georgia, North Carolina, California, Missouri and Pennsylvania.

Autumn was one of the first Vice Presidents in Banking & Lending Services and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2011. She was also one of the first Financial Advisors to have earned Morgan Stanley’s prestigious Family Wealth Advisor designation, completing an accreditation program focused on comprehensive, family-centric wealth management advice and services.

About Holley Fuller

Holley Fuller is a Wealth Management Associate with The Sapphire Group at Morgan Stanley in Chapel Hill, N.C.

Responsible for providing client-focused operational and service support, Holley has enjoyed many years working as the liaison between clients and financial advisors. Today, she works diligently in keeping her team organized, creating financial plans for clients and addressing client concerns. Her effectiveness at doing so—combined with her cheerful demeaner, in-depth operational knowledge and problem-solving skills—has allowed her to develop strong and enduring client relationships and deep trust and respect among her colleagues.

Holley began her career in the financial industry in 1993, as a sales assistant for a securities firm in Rochester, N.Y. A few years later, the firm promoted her to wire operator. In 1996, Holley accepted a position as Registered Sales Assistant with Dean Witter, supporting a team of three financial advisors in Rochester. In 2007, she added to her duties the role of Client Service Associate Coach for the Morgan Stanley Rochester office, where she trained new and existing Client Service Associates. She was promoted to Branch Service Manager later that year and again in 2010, when she accepted a position as Complex Service Manager, based in Buffalo, N.Y.

In 2011, a Rochester-based Morgan Stanley advisory team recruited Holley back to her hometown as Senior Registered Sales Assistant. She moved in 2020 to North Carolina and transferred to the Chapel Hill offices of Morgan Stanley as a Portfolio Associate before joining The Sapphire Group as a Wealth Management Associate in 2024.

Holley likes to travel and spend time with her husband doing outdoor activities such as playing soccer, boating, snowmobiling, motorcycling and off-roading. She also finds time to relax reading and solving jigsaw puzzles.

About Angie Pho

Angie brings over 25 years of experience in financial services, specializing in client relationship management, trade execution, and operational support. She has worked with renowned firms like Morgan Stanley and Edward Jones, developing experience in wealth management processes and regulatory compliance.
Before returning to North Carolina to be closer to family, Angie served as a Senior Registered Client Service Associate in Morgan Stanley's PWM division in New York. In this role, she focused on creating seamless client experiences by managing trade activities, coordinating complex inquiries, and providing clear, timely communication that instills trust. These experiences deepened her passion for building strong relationships and assisting clients with their day-to-day financial needs.
Now, as part of the Sapphire Group, Angie is dedicated to supporting the team’s client-first approach. She is committed to fostering long-standing relationships by deeply understanding clients’ financial goals and contributing to the team’s mission of helping families communicate and plan for future generations.
Outside of work, Angie enjoys the vibrant life of the Triangle. She shares her home with her husband, Erick, and together they love going on long drives, discovering new restaurants, and unwinding with a great movie. In her free time, you can often find her cheering on contestants in competitive reality shows, captivated by their journeys and the challenges they face.
