About Kenneth O'Connell

Kenny O’Connell, Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist CRPS®, joined Morgan Stanley as a Financial Advisor in 2010, and is currently a Executive Director. He started his career in 1997 with Prudential Securities. At Morgan Stanley, he holds the designations of Corporate Retirement Director, Senior Portfolio Manager, and Family Wealth Advisor. Kenny continually seeks higher education to remain at the forefront of current financial planning and investment strategies. Throughout his career, he has worked with many individual and corporate high net worth clients and has a passion for helping them achieve their many financial goals. Kenny has recently been named Forbes list as a Best-In-State advisor in 2023. Aside from being a member of Morgan Stanley’s Masters Club, Kenny was recently names to the prestigious Presidents Club.

Kenny has been a resident of Las Vegas since 1988 and is active in his church and community. He is an avid outdoorsman and loves riding his bike, skiing, and climbing mountains. Kenny is married to his best friend Jamie, and together they have three daughters. Their three daughters are all married and have blessed them with four grandkids. They all love spending time together as a family, which gives Kenny and Jamie the chance to spoil their grandchildren.

Michael BenShimon CFA®, CAIA®, CPWA®, joined Morgan Stanley in September of 2019 and is currently a First Vice President, Financial Advisor. Previously, Michael spent time at BNY Mellon Wealth Management where he was a Senior Portfolio Manager. Prior to that, he was an Investment Strategist for Wells Fargo Private Bank, where he built customized investment strategies for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients, worked on numerous research and white papers, and helped educate and train Financial Advisors throughout the state of Nevada. Bob Martin has over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry. He joined Morgan Stanley in September of 2019 as a Vice President, Financial Advisor. Previously, Bob spent 14 years at BNY Mellon Wealth Management where he was Regional President. Prior to that, he was Regional President of Irwin Union Bank here in Las Vegas, Nevada after spending 17 years at Bank of America as a Senior Vice President in the Commercial Banking Group.

Jerri Pratt, Portfolio Associate, began her career in the financial industry in 1982 with Dean Witter Reynolds, Inc. as a receptionist. After becoming a Registered Sales Assistant, she was promoted to Operations Manager, the office she held until leaving to take the position of Administrative Manager at Prudential Securities. In November 2005, she was approached by Jason and Kenny, whom she had worked with at Prudential Securities, to be a part of their group at Banc of America Investment Services, Inc.

Savanah Arellano is an Associate Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in Nevada and California.

Savanah began her career in financial services in 2005, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2021 as an Associate Private Banker. Prior to joining the firm, she was a Wealth Management Associate at U.S. Bancorp.
