    To nickname an account, please follow these steps:

    From the MS Online homepage, navigate to "Services" at the top toolbar, then select "Profile + Settings" in the dropdown menu

    In the "Profile + Settings" page, navigate down to "Preferences" and then select "Display"

    In the next page, you'll see "Account Nickname" and it will prompt you to add a nickname for any of your accounts.

    Once you are done nicknaming your accounts, select "Update" at the bottom of the screen.

About James Gallagher

Jim has been an integral part of the Ryan Group for the past 20 years, currently serving as a Senior Vice President. In his role, he oversees all daily operations, which include actively trading equities, options, and fixed income securities. Additionally, he is responsible for setting up hedging strategies for concentrated stock positions. His primary focus is on tactically enhancing income for clients while ensuring the preservation of their net worth.

Jim's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from the University of Scranton. Beyond his professional commitments, Jim is actively involved in his local community. He volunteers as a coach for AAU basketball and serves as the Athletic Director for St. Clements School in Matawan, NJ. Jim resides in Aberdeen, NJ, with his wife, Darlene, and their two children.
