    Here, we use advanced financial planning resources to carefully evaluate your current financial picture. From there, we work to create a customized Wealth Management Plan designed around your needs, objectives, priorities, time horizon, and risk tolerance.

    4. Wealth Management Plan Meeting
    During this meeting, we review your Wealth Management Plan with you in detail. The Plan outlines investment recommendations, along with additional strategies designed to support your broader financial objectives. These may include approaches to help manage risk, consider tax implications, and advance your estate planning and legacy goals.

    5. Commitment Meeting
    Approximately one to two weeks later, we meet again to confirm and formalize our working relationship. At this stage, the necessary documents are completed, and we officially welcome you into our practice.

    As your assets are transferred to Morgan Stanley, we begin the structured process of putting your plan into action. To support coordinated and transparent implementation, we may collaborate with specialized professionals in key areas, as well as your CPA and estate attorney, as appropriate.

Meet The Rucker Wells Group

About Lisa Rucker

Lisa’s career in the financial services industry spans nearly four decades. After attending the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and the University of Memphis, Lisa began her career with Robinson Humphrey (a predecessor firm to Morgan Stanley) in Memphis. She initially worked in the operations area, managing several of the Memphis branch offices. In 1997, Lisa transitioned to a Financial Advisor and, in 2000 joined Financial Advisor Madison Wells to form The Rucker Wells Group. The group takes a team approach in providing personalized financial advice for individuals and families. In 2010 The Rucker Wells Group moved their practice to Wells Fargo Advisors where they continued to hone their skills and develop lasting relationships with their clients. In 2021, The Rucker Wells Group returned “home” to Morgan Stanley.

In 2011, Lisa earned the Certified Retirement Counselor (CRC) certification by completing an approved educational program, passing a rigorous examination and meeting stringent experience requirements. The CRC curriculum is focused on applying retirement planning and income management both in the accumulation phase and the distribution phase. Committed to professional excellence, Lisa regularly attends continuing education conferences to stay current with the ever-changing regulatory environment. With this knowledge Lisa can provide the appropriate strategies to help clients pursue their financial goals.

Away from the office, Lisa enjoys traveling and spending time with her extended family. She has two grown sons, Stuart and Sean, both of whom live in Memphis as well as her German Shepard, Sofie. Nothing makes Lisa happier than spending time with her boys. Lisa is most passionate about tennis, competing in numerous events across the country with a dynamic group of ladies.

About Madison Wells

For nearly three decades Madison has worked with clients to help address their financial concerns and develop sound strategies by focusing on their specific needs. With extensive experience throughout major shifts in the markets, Madison had dedicated his career to delivering the personalized investment planning services his clients deserve.

After playing football for two years at Rhodes College, Madison earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Memphis.

Madison began his career as a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch in Memphis, where he developed his fundamental investment knowledge and obtained the Certificate of Financial Management degree from the Donald T. Regan School of Financial Management. In 1998 he joined Smith Barney (a predecessor firm to Morgan Stanley) and in 2000 partnered with Financial Advisor Lisa Rucker to form The Rucker Wells Group. Madison and Lisa take a team approach in providing personalized financial advice for individuals and families. In 2010 The Rucker Wells Group moved their practice to Wells Fargo Advisors where they continued to hone their skills and develop lasting relationships with their clients. In 2021, The Rucker Wells Group returned “home” to Morgan Stanley.

A staunch believer in continuing education, Madison regularly attends industry conferences and due diligence meetings with investment advisory firms. In 2013, Madison completed and earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) certification by passing a rigorous qualification examination and completing an approved educational program at the Wharton School of Business. He has also served on the FA Advisory Panel for PIMCO®.

Away from the office, Madison spends his free time with his wife, Amy, a jewelry designer, and their daughter Sadie Ann who is a student in the Chancellor’s Honors Program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Madison and Amy enjoy cooking and sharing fine food and wine with their friends and family. An avid music fan, Madison is always expanding his record collection. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Memphis Rock N’ Soul Museum as well as the Memphis Music Hall of Fame. When time and weather allow, he also has a passion for golf, always looking for an opportunity to play the games’ “sacred” courses.

The Steering Council consists of representatives from all segments of the MMI membership. The primary contacts at each of MMI’s 207 member firms were eligible to vote to determine the winners. Nominations were reviewed and evaluated to determine finalists June 2024 - July 2024. Finalists were voted on to determine a winner August 2024. These awards were granted to Morgan Stanley based on the time period from October 2023 to June 2024. There were 6 firms considered for the Wealth Management Platform of the Year Award and 12 firms considered for the Distribution Excellence Award. The Money Management Institute (MMI) is the industry association representing financial services firms and Barron’s is a financial magazine; both groups are responsible for the award. 2) Industry’s top tax-optimization technology refers to tax management capabilities developed by Eaton Vance and Parametric, affiliates of Morgan Stanley. Morgan Stanley is a leading provider of direct indexing strategies. According to Cerulli Associates’ Q1 2026 Managed Account Edition, Morgan Stanley ranked first among 15 firms in Direct Index SMA assets under management based on reported industry assets. The ranking reflects scale of assets and does not evaluate tax outcomes, performance, or quality of technology. Tax outcomes will vary and are not guaranteed.

3) The Celent Model Wealth Manager 2025 Awards for Data and Analytics and Essential and Emerging Technologies were granted to Morgan Stanley following an evaluation process conducted by Celent analysts. To be considered for this award, Morgan Stanley submitted Model Wealth Manager 2025 Nomination Award Worksheets to Celent on or about January 30, 2025. Celent judged each submission on three criteria: (1) Measurable business benefits of live initiatives; (2) degree of innovation relative to the industry; and (3) technology or implementation excellence. In order to win, the initiatives must demonstrate clear business benefits, innovation, and technology or implementation excellence. Celent does not receive compensation from the participating firms in exchange for the award and Morgan Stanley did not pay a fee to Celent in exchange for the award. Morgan Stanley is not affiliated with Celent. Based on their submission on January 30, 2025 for Celent’s 2025 Model Awards program, Celent granted Morgan Stanley their awards in June, 2025 and publicly shared the news in June, 2025. Celent is a global financial services research and advisory firm and is responsible for determining the recipient of this award.
