Meet The Rosenberg Wealth Management Group

About Me

With over 23 years of experience, Derek’s purpose is to help you feel confident, connected and in control of your financial life by fostering an environment for success. The right financial advice can help prepare you for whatever life brings – both the expected and the unexpected. He enjoys empowering clients to live a more fulfilling life, while focusing on purpose, having an impact on loved ones, and being a role model for their communities. When you work with his team, you can expect regular meetings to review your goals, progress, and investments.

Derek graduated from UCLA in 1994 with a degree in English Literature and joined the financial industry in October of 1997 at AG Edwards. He also earned his MBA from Pepperdine University Graziadio Business School, with Beta Gamma Sigma honors in April 2023.

He is a CFP professional and earned his Certified Private Wealth Advisor and Chartered Retirement Plans designations.

Derek has been married since 1998 and is the father of three beautiful boys. Derek's favorite hobbies include golf, cooking, travel and a good appreciation and understanding for various varietals of wine. Derek has also served on the board of the local UCLA Alumni Association and the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas. Derek volunteers regularly with The Goodie Two Shoes foundation: they provide shoes to the underprivileged in the Las Vegas valley. He also became involved with this organization because he believes all children should have the ability to focus on school and life--and this allows one less thing for them to worry about. Seeing their emotional response with something as simple as receiving a pair of shoes, keeps him passionately involved and always coming back.

About Me

Richard started in Financial Services in 2001 with Merrill Lynch, and learned from the greatest financial advisors of that time. Prior to this, he graduated from Monmouth University in 2001 with a BA in Communication Studies and holds his APWA and APMA from the College of Financial Planning.

What he feels sets his team apart is the communication outreach process, and planning around critical life events.

He loves exercise, nutrition, alternative medicine, and he is an avid dog lover having a lab, a bulldog and shih tzu. He plans on making a significant impact to animal shelters. His life revolves around his wife and two young daughters ages 7 and 9 who are cheerleaders and dancers.
