About Stephen S Mucci

 A seasoned professional with more than 30 years of industry experience, Stephen provides customized advice and investment solutions to financially successful professionals, multigenerational families and business owners in Michigan and across the country. He is dedicated to helping his clients achieve their personal and professional financial goals, so they may attain the financial freedom to pursue their passions and enjoy the wealth they’ve created.
 
Growing up in New Jersey, Stephen knew at an early age he wanted to pursue a career in finance. He earned his B.A. in Financial Administration from Michigan State University and his M.B.A. at the University of Notre Dame, graduating Cum Laude. Stephen began his career in wealth management in 1994 at Smith Barney, a predecessor firm of Morgan Stanley, and has been a vital member of the firm ever since. In 2010, he was asked to expand his responsibilities, taking on the leadership role of Branch Manager for the firm’s Kalamazoo office. In this role, Stephen works closely with financial advisors, providing the skills, tools and resources to help them better serve their clients and grow their practices.
 
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and Senior Portfolio Management Director, Stephen takes pride in his ability to put complex investment strategies into action and effectively communicate these strategies to his clients. Stephen currently lives in Lawton with his wife, Tonya, and their dog Murphy. His son Jordan is a Financial Advisor and member of the Rose Street Group at Morgan Stanley. His daughter, Savina, is an attorney in private practice in Southwest Michigan.

Stephen serves on the Endowment and Audit Committee for the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts. He is also active in Kalamazoo Guys Who Give as well as several other civic and community supportive organizations.

In his free time, he enjoys hot yoga, wood working, and exercising his private pilot's license.

After multiple years of experience in the financial industry, Kristyn comes to the Rose Street Group with banking, merchandising, event planning and client relations experience. Kristyn joined Morgan Stanley in 2018 after working with other financial institutions and came aboard at The Rose Street Group in 2019. Her many responsibilities include assisting in Morgan Stanley Online, Asset Aggregation, event planning, and The Goals Based Planning system. She assists Stephen and Scott in many daily activities to grow as an accomplished team here at Morgan Stanley. As a registered client service associate she holds a series 66 and 7 securities licenses.

Kristyn moved back to Kalamazoo in 2017 after completing her Masters Degree at DePaul University in Chicago. She enjoys skiing, biking, traveling and music.

About Michelle Copenhaver
