The Rosbach Rice Advantage

Rick and Winnie Rosbach are a seasoned husband-wife advisory team who understands the importance of family and the financial freedom to pursue personal interests. Since 2011, we have been honored to work with a select group of individuals, families and business leaders in Washington State and across the country.

In 2020 we joined Morgan Stanley and met Susan Rice. We bonded over our mutual core value of taking excellent care of our clients. We all believe in the same process of working with our clients very closely and continuously ensuring that our clients are being put first. We have a mutual trust and respect for each other as well as all our clients.

We take great pride in helping our clients manage their finances, so they can take care of the people they love and spend more time pursuing the activities they enjoy. We are most proud of the fact that we continue to serve many of the clients that began working with Winnie’s father, 40 years ago. It is a true privilege to be a part of their family stories, as we now work with their children and grandchildren.

With energy and enthusiasm, we deliver a standard of care that puts you in the center of every decision. We are committed to earning your trust every day through a powerful combination of experience, education and empathy. Above all, we strive to ensure every client feels like our only client.

Getting started is easy. It begins with a conversation. We look forward to discussing how we can support and enhance the lifestyle and legacy you envision for you, your children and your grandchildren now and for the years to come.

Our Commitment to You

At The Rosbach Rice Group, we believe successful wealth management is a process, not an event. As a result, we have built a personalized, first-class service experience that is based on three critical components: continuous service, mutual understanding of goals and direction, and ongoing relationship building. Our services enables us to provide a customized experience that can potentially be both value-added and differentiating. The number one way we attract new clients – and maintain existing ones – is our premium service experience.
    Icon Image
    Quarterly Calls
As part of our commitment to superior service, we schedule quarterly conversations with you. Each call is intended to address different topics that can help you effectively reach your goals. During this time, we also discuss updates in your life, questions you may have about the market and timely information about your portfolio.
    Icon Image
    Semi-Annual Reviews
In addition to our quarterly calls, we schedule semi-annual performance reviews to discuss your investments in detail. These meetings are typically face-to-face or utilize virtual platforms. The purpose of these meetings is to provide a “no surprise strategy” in managing your assets. Our ultimate goal is to help ensure your plan remains on track and reflects changes in your life or changes in the markets.
    Icon Image
    Accessibility
As stewards of your personal wealth, we believe you should have immediate access to us, as well as the vast services offered through Morgan Stanley. In addition to the above scheduled activities, we are always available to answer your questions, either in person or by phone. Our number one priority is to be your first call for any financial matter – no matter how simple or complex the situation.
    Icon Image
    Transparency
It is critically important for you to always know where you stand and it is our responsibility to keep you informed. We stay in direct contact with you and provide ongoing communication about your plan and investment portfolio. We believe in transparency of process and pricing and utilize an “open architecture” platform with non-proprietary investments to ensure there is never a conflict of interest.
    Icon Image
    Ongoing Education
Financial education is a vital element of our practice and helps ensure continuity as wealth moves from one generation to the next. We believe it is our responsibility to assist you and family members as they face important financial challenges. We provide access to important resources and are here to answer critical questions that may impact the long-term wealth of your extended family.
    Icon Image
    Proactive Communication
We are committed to contacting you during times of significant market volatility and work with you to help anticipate and plan for changing financial and family needs. We also work with your accountant, attorney and other advisors to gain the precise knowledge needed to effectively manage your wealth, while helping ensure all recommendations are fully aligned and implemented.

Meet The Rosbach Rice Group

About Richard Rosbach

Richard A. Rosbach

Branch Manager
First Vice President
Financial Advisor

An experienced Financial Advisor and co-founder of The Rosbach Rice Group at Morgan Stanley, Rick has dedicated his career to serving the specialized needs of successful professionals, business leaders and families living in the greater Bellingham area and around the country. He enjoys educating clients on how to create and implement an effective financial plan and helping them make more informed and confident decisions about their wealth.

Growing up on the east coast, Rick had a strong work ethic and an affinity for math. He also enjoyed helping others – from the time he was a teenager washing dishes and working at Kmart to managing the local Blockbuster video store when he was attending Franklin and Marshall College. It was during his college years that he met Winnie, his future wife and business partner. Winnie’s father was a highly successful advisor at Merrill Lynch. He immediately recognized Rick’s strong attributes and encouraged him to consider a career in financial services. In 2002, Rick became a Financial Advisor at Merrill and two years later teamed up with his father-in-law. Winnie joined the practice in 2011.

Today, Rick enjoys working with like-minded clients who value and appreciate the level of skill and service he and his team deliver. His goals-based process begins with asking the right questions and listening intently. This information then serves as the foundation for the development of a comprehensive plan and investment portfolio that reflects each client’s goals for the future. Rick receives great satisfaction knowing he is helping make a significant impact on the quality of his clients’ lives and often becomes one of the most important relationships to their families.

Rick believes balance is vital to a happy life. Outside of the office, his life centers on a love for his family and community. Rick is a team manager for WFC Rangers soccer team, a Washington State licensed Soccer Referee, and a Board Member of the Bayside Swim Club. A proud Phi Kappa Sigma alumni, Rick is a huge movie buff, loves watching soccer (Go Sounders!) and enjoys traveling and outdoor adventures with Winnie and the family, and their two dogs.
