About Steve Rogers
Steve understands the importance of putting his clients first. With three decades of industry experience during major shifts in the market, Steve has developed the knowledge and tools to structure balanced portfolios that can help clients address their specific financial goals.
Steve started his career with Merrill Lynch in 1983. He then transitioned his business to JC Bradford, where he continued to work as a Financial Advisor while also serving as the Branch Manager. He ultimately became a partner in the firm and, for 12 years, was an active member of the Senior Advisory Council, a group of professionals charged with formulating the direction of the company. In 2000, JC Bradford was purchased by then PaineWebber, which ultimately became UBS Financial Services. Steve has been recognized as a Wells Fargo Advisor's Chairman's Council Premier Advisor, a designation reserved for the firm's top producers.
A 1978 Indiana University graduate, Steve believes in the value of continually learning. Steve completed the Securities Industry Institute program at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He also completed securities industry training at the Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
Steve is committed to helping his community prosper and has previously served on the boards of the Salvation Army of South Central Kentucky and the Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center Foundation. He is an avid golfer and currently holds nine individual state titles, including winner of the Kentucky Open and the Kentucky Senior Open. Steve also had the honor of playing in the 2009 US Senior Open and the 2010 British Senior Open.
Both Steve and his wife Elizabeth are life-long residents of Bowling Green, Kentucky, where they raised their son Steven and daughters Margaret and Madeline.
