About John Fabian Jr.
John J. Fabian Jr.
Senior Vice President
Financial Advisor
John J. Fabian Jr. brings a lifetime of experience to his role as a wealth management professional. As founder and senior Financial Advisor of The Rockville Bridge Group, John is responsible for setting the long-term vision of the group and managing the team’s single-managed and bond discretionary portfolios. He brings over 40 years of industry experience to the team, enabling him to help individuals, families and business leaders pursue their lifetime goals, while building a diversified portfolio with quality stocks and fixed income investments.
John began his career in financial services in 1986 at W.H. Newbold as an Account Executive, after graduating from Dickinson College in 1978. Over the years, he has worked at several national firms, including Legg Mason and Smith Barney (a predecessor firm of Morgan Stanley). He joined Morgan Stanley in 2012, where he continues to grow his practice along with his team of wealth management professionals.
John draws upon his management and investment experience to provide clients with tailored financial advice and customized portfolios. His approach begins with a face-to-face meeting to fully understand each client’s specific goals, personal values and family circumstances. This information serves as the foundation for the development of a comprehensive financial plan and asset allocation strategy. John believes in taking a conservative approach to investing, using quality stocks and fixed income instruments to help achieve a targeted rate of return commensurate with a client’s personal risk level.
A native of the Harrisburg area, John is most proud of his four children and seven grandchildren. He enjoys working along side his son, John, daughter, Justine, and god-son, Meron, in their family wealth management practice. Outside of the office, John enjoys playing guitar in his band, writing poetry and fiction, and various artistic projects.

Bonds are subject to interest rate risk. When interest rates rise, bond prices fall; generally the longer a bond's maturity, the more sensitive it is to this risk. Bonds may also be subject to call risk, which is the risk that the issuer will redeem the debt at its option, fully or partially, before the scheduled maturity date. The market value of debt instruments may fluctuate, and proceeds from sales prior to maturity may be more or less than the amount originally invested or the maturity value due to changes in market conditions or changes in the credit quality of the issuer. Bonds are subject to the credit risk of the issuer. This is the risk that the issuer might be unable to make interest and/or principal payments on a timely basis. Bonds are also subject to reinvestment risk, which is the risk that principal and/or interest payments from a given investment may be reinvested at a lower interest rate.
Diversification and Asset Allocation does not guarantee a profit or protect against loss in a declining financial market.
