ESTATE PLANNING STRATEGIES

Many of our clients have considered what they would like to happen to their assets when they pass away, but it's a subject that some of us naturally hesitate to explore. However, careful consideration of this matter can help simplify the eventual transition of your wealth. Is a simple will sufficient, or might a more comprehensive estate plan be the better course for your unique situation?

Consider the following key questions:

- Do you have significant assets outside of your IRA and primary residence?
- Would you like a set of instructions to be followed if you become incapacitated?
- Are you interested on effectively managing your assets during your lifetime while ensuring benefits for your loved ones, especially children with special needs?
- Have you given thought to the most tax-efficient strategies for transferring your wealth?

Let's explore together how we can help create a personalized plan that aligns with your goals and ease the eventual transition of your assets.
We Will Assist You With...
• Perform preliminary due diligence – review balance sheet and your existing estate planning strategies
• Objectively educate you about income tax and estate planning strategies
• Analyze planning techniques in relation to your goals
• Implement the estate plan with your tax advisor to the extent that you are comfortable
• Integrate investment and estate planning strategies - combining “asset location” with “asset allocation”

10Participating in a new issue/syndicate is subject to availability. IPOs are highly speculative and may not be appropriate for all investors because they lack a stock-trading history and usually involve smaller and newer companies that tend to have limited operating histories, less-experienced management teams, and fewer products or customers. Also, the offering price of an IPO reflects a negotiated estimate as to the value of the company, which may bear little relationship to the trading price of the securities, and it is not uncommon for the closing price of the shares shortly after the IPO to be well above or below the offering price.
