About Reuben Rashty

Reuben Rashty is in the business of helping people. As a successful professional, devoted husband, and committed father of four adult-children, Reuben knows that people are often too busy focusing on the job at hand to address their own financial matters. He has worked with a myriad of business owners, executives, and other professionals who spend countless hours working on their careers and businesses, only to never get around to important tasks such as creating a trust, developing an exit plan, or preparing for retirement. For many business owners, their business and personal affairs are so intertwined that they’re almost inseparable. Reuben is at his best when he’s helping these types of people help themselves.

Reuben is a Managing Director and Wealth Management Advisor in the Bloomfield Hills office of Morgan Stanley. As a former managing director of JP Morgan’s Private Bank in Michigan and also Fifth Third Bank, Reuben has a prestigious history of serving as his clients’ most trusted advisor. Along with his team of professionals, Reuben helps his clients develop comprehensive financial plans. Whether they want to review their goals, investment portfolio, insurance needs, 401k plan for their business, and more, Reuben and his team are ready to help. Even beyond his stated scope of services, Reuben is a problem solver and connector. With an abundance of professional relationships in Southeast Michigan and beyond, if Reuben can’t provide a solution himself, he will find someone else who can.

Engaging with a client starts with understanding the whole person: how did they get to where they are, what are they excited about in the future, what challenges must they overcome? Reuben and his team work in concert with their clients to develop a strategy that hopes for the best and is equipped for the worst. Finally, the plan must be executed and continuously reviewed as life presents new challenges and opportunities.

When he is not at work, Reuben is engaging with his community. He is on the Board of Detroit Public Television and on the Finance Committee of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit. In his free time, Reuben enjoys spending time with his wife of 30 years. Together, they are avid walkers, and love traveling around the world together, enjoying fabulous wines.
