About Alyson B. Popper
Alyson Popper is a Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley. Alyson uses her financial planning experience to take a goal-oriented approach to helping her clients. She focuses on retirement income planning for individuals and designs, implements and monitors employer 401k plans. She has a particular interest in working with women, especially after a major life change such as divorce, loss of a spouse, or an inheritance, as these often have profound financial implications.
Alyson graduated Brandeis University with a BA in Economics. She later obtained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation. In addition, she has obtained an Insurance Planning director title from Morgan Stanley. Alyson obtained the Qualified Plan Financial Consultant credential from NAPA (National Association of Plan Advisors) in October 2022. She has also been recognized by Working Mother Magazine and SHOOK Research as a 2020 and 2021 Top Wealth Advisor Mom. Alyson has been recognized by Forbes as a Top Women Wealth Advisor in 2021-2025. Also in 2021-2025, Alyson was named by Forbes magazine as a “Best-In-State Wealth Advisor”.
Alyson has over 30 years of investment experience with Morgan Stanley. She is a long-time member of the Morgan Stanley Women In Wealth Group and the Financial Planning Association of Massachusetts. Alyson has been a member of the Morgan Stanley Century Club, a recognition club, from 2017 to 2022 and 2024. In 2023 and 2025, she was a member of the Master's Club. She also serves on the steering committee of the Brandeis Alumni Club of Greater Boston and in the Spring of 2023, she joined the Alumni Board at Brandeis as a Member-AT-Large. She is currently serving a second 2-year term on that board and co-chairing the Alumni Reunion Committee for that board.
Through comprehensive financial planning and investment management, Alyson has spent her career helping clients to increase their retirement readiness and to pursue their financial goals. She delivers unbiased strategies and conflict-free advice.
In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, playing tennis and cooking. She Co-Chaired her 30th college reunion for Brandeis and will be co-chairing the upcoming 35th reunion.
Alyson lives in Medfield with her husband and two sons.

Catie Lyons is a Financial Advisor and joined The Popper Group at Morgan Stanley at the end of 2021. After graduating from UConn in 2019, Catie’s passion for helping others through financial planning led her to become a Wealth Advisor Associate at Morgan Stanley. In that role, she focused her attention on preparing and presenting financial plans for Morgan Stanley clients in southern New England. She holds a Financial Planning Specialist designation, Series 7 and 66 license, and her life, accident, and health insurance license. Catie is a native of Bennington, VT. Although she grew up in Vermont, she spent many years travelling to the Boston area to visit relatives. Currently, Catie lives in Knoxville, TN. In her spare time, she enjoys doing yoga and spending time with her Goldendoodle, Rosie. She also likes going for walks and admiring the views of the beautiful Smoky Mountains.
