About Ryan Flynn
Ryan Flynn has more than a decade of experience at Morgan Stanley advising affluent families, businesses, and institutions. As a non-practicing estate attorney, Ryan plays a central role in integrating income tax and estate planning strategies, trust administration; philanthropic planning; and the formation, succession, and sale of closely held businesses.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2014, Ryan practiced as a Private Wealth attorney at Archer P.C. and, earlier, worked in the Family Office Services group at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University and a Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Villanova Tax Law Compendium. Ryan furthered his education in tax, estates, and business planning at Georgetown University Law Center and Villanova’s Graduate Tax Law Program, earning an LL.M. As a member of Morgan Stanley, Ryan does not provide tax or legal advice.
Ryan resides in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, with his wife, Jenn, and their twin children, Tommy and Addie. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth sports, and following local high school and college sports. Ryan is deeply involved in his community, serving as president of The Georgetown University Club and on the Board of Governors of St. Joseph’s Preparatory School. He is also a member of the bar associations and estate and financial planning councils of Pennsylvania and New Jersey and actively supports the Bringing Up Down Syndrome (BUDS) organization alongside his younger sister, Tricia.
