About Brian Bernhardt

Brian Bernhardt has more than two decades of experience providing strategic advice and sophisticated planning services to wealthy families and business owners. As a Certified Financial Planner®, Brian works closely with clients and their other trusted advisors to develop customized estate and investment strategies. His focus includes strategic asset placement, wealth transfer planning, and tax-aware solutions designed to support long-term financial objectives.

Before joining Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management in 2012, Brian served as a Financial Advisor at Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management. Earlier in his career, he held advisory and client-facing roles within financial services, where he built a strong foundation in comprehensive planning, investment strategy, and relationship management.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Cornell University. He resides in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, with his wife, their two teenagers, and two dogs. Outside of work, Brian enjoys staying active, spending time with his family, and following collegiate athletics. Ryan Flynn has more than a decade of experience at Morgan Stanley advising affluent families, businesses, and institutions. As a non-practicing estate attorney, Ryan plays a central role in integrating income tax and estate planning strategies, trust administration; philanthropic planning; and the formation, succession, and sale of closely held businesses.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2014, Ryan practiced as a Private Wealth attorney at Archer P.C. and, earlier, worked in the Family Office Services group at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University and a Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Villanova Tax Law Compendium. Ryan furthered his education in tax, estates, and business planning at Georgetown University Law Center and Villanova’s Graduate Tax Law Program, earning an LL.M. As a member of Morgan Stanley, Ryan does not provide tax or legal advice.

Ryan resides in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, with his wife, Jenn, and their twin children, Tommy and Addie. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth sports, and following local high school and college sports. Ryan is deeply involved in his community, serving as president of The Georgetown University Club and on the Board of Governors of St. Joseph’s Preparatory School. About Mary Chiavaroli

Mary Chiavaroli is an experienced Wealth Management Associate who supports client service and operational needs across the team. Mary plays a key role in coordinating service requests and ensuring day-to-day client interactions are handled with accuracy and professionalism.

Before joining Morgan Stanley in 2022, Mary served as a Vice President and Senior Client Service Associate at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where she supported complex client relationships for eight years.

Mary and her partner, Mike live in Springfield, PA, and have a blended family with four children and two grandchildren. Outside of work, she enjoys attending family sporting events, traveling, working on DIY projects, and hosting Sunday dinners.

About Blair Kurtz

Blair Kurtz brings more than 15 years of experience in the wealth management industry. As the team’s Group Director, she oversees day-to-day operations, and coordinates across the team to ensure a consistently high-quality client experience.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2016, Blair held a management role at UBS in New York, where she focused on operational leadership and team management.

She earned dual degrees from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Business and School of Arts and Sciences.
