The Pickard Poser Group, like any business, has a story. Our group is made up of two partners, Matthew Poser and Drew Pickard, supported by an incredible staff which is led by Paulo Alfonso. Each partner worked their way to create and build the life they currently have. Recognizing the complexity of the financial world and having been on the client side themselves, Poser and Pickard, entered the financial services industry to create a simple, meaningful, and consistently compelling client experience.

About Matthew Poser
With a foundation in deep fundamental bottom-up investment research and an extensive understanding of the affluent investor, Matthew Poser left Fred Alger to join Janney Montgomery Scott, LLC. After several successful years at Janney, he was recruited to Morgan Stanley where he is the co-founder of The Pickard Poser Group.
Philanthropy is near and dear to Matthew. He is actively involved in many community organizations and sits on various nonprofit boards. Matthew resides in Miami Beach and for fun you’ll catch him riding up & down Key Biscayne in Miami or 9w in the Northeast on his Cannondale bicycle.

About Drew Pickard
My compassion for people and high level of emotional intelligence are always front and center when dealing with clients. Close friends, family members and colleagues refer to me as the "Care Bear." It's a term I try to live up to each day, assuring people that I'm not just a financial planner, but more importantly, I'm a trusted advisor who listens carefully to my clients in order to help them achieve their personal goals. There are a lot of emotions and family dynamics involved when it comes to money. I'm very sensitive to those aspects of the business and understand the need for a caring partner to guide you through the wealth management process.
Today my focus is on what I commonly refer to as the "sandwich generation." These are clients in their 50s, sandwiched between the responsibilities of raising children/grandchildren while often caring for elderly parents, both financially and emotionally. It's a niche because this is the time in people's lives when they usually have the most money and yet are still in the accumulation stage. It is critical that these individuals do not lose sight of their own needs while saving for retirement, and I act as a guide to help them find the right balance.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife Sherri, three children and six grandchildren. My hobbies include golf, traveling, billiards and volunteering.

About John Fanning
Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.
John began his career in financial services in 1992, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2010 as a Financial Advisor. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Commercial Banker at SunTrust Bank (now Truist Bank) and Bank United. He also also served as a Finance Manager at Merrill Lynch Business Financial Services.
John is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with his family. Outside of the office, John enjoys coaching and watching his sons excel in sports, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on all South Florida sports team.
About Leticia Teixeira
Leticia began her career in financial services in 2011 and joined Morgan Stanley in 2020. Prior to her current position, she worked at multiple Financial Services firms in Florida including RBC, Itaú and UBS.
Leticia graduated from Florida International University with a B.A. in Psychology and obtained an MBA in Organizational Management from Carlos Albizu University. She holds her Certified Financial Planner® and Certified Exit Planning Advisor® designations.
Outside of work, Leticia enjoys practicing her photography skills, family trips and volunteering at school activities. Leticia is originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil and she is fluent in English and Portuguese, and conversational in Spanish. She currently lives in Broward, FL with her husband and 2 children.
