    Meet The Peters Group

    About Me

    Kevin M. Peters is a Managing Director and Wealth Advisor in the Private Wealth Management Group of Morgan Stanley.

    He has been a registered Financial Advisor for more than three decades, assisting clients in bull markets, bear markets, and everything in between.  He joined Morgan Stanley in 2007 after serving clients for seven years at Merrill Lynch and 18 years at Smith Barney, which was acquired by Morgan Stanley.

    Kevin now leads The Peters Group, a ten-person team based at Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management Corporate Headquarters in Purchase, NY. He serves the needs of high net worth clients throughout the United States, relying on his breadth of experience in portfolio management as well as retirement, estate and philanthropic planning.

    Over the years, Kevin has garnered impressive industry recognition.  From 2010 through 2017, he was selected for “Barron’s Top 100” and for the Barron’s list of “Top 1,000 U.S. Financial Advisors.”  He was included in Westchester magazine’s “Five Star Wealth Managers” for the years 2009 through 2017.  Most recently, he was named to Forbes Magazine’s inaugural list of “Top 200 Financial Advisors”.

    Most recently, Kevin was featured in a Bloomberg’s BusinessWeek radio broadcast and subsequent printed article, “A Wealth Manager’s Day in a Life.”  As well, he has been interviewed on numerous television and radio programs and has been quoted extensively in articles throughout the region.

    Kevin graduated from the University of Kentucky with majors in Business and Finance and a minor in Business Law.

    About Me

    Wenton is a partner of the Peters Group helping advise on  more than 2 billion in assets for Ultra and high net worth families and their business.  He focuses primarily on investment strategy, wealth management and financial planning. 

    Wenton earned his BS from Franklin Pierce University and attended the executive education program at the University Of Pennsylvania Wharton School Of Business. In Addition he continues to advance his knowledge of the ever changing financial environment by attending educational conferences and forums.

    Wenton joined Morgan Stanley in 1994 and brings 23 years now of industry experience to his team and clients. He joined the Peters Group in April of 2007. He has been included among Westchester’s Five Star Wealth Managers list from 2012 -2017. He currently holds series 7,31,and 65 and state insurance licenses.

    Wenton currently lives in New Canaan, CT with his wife and three children.  He enjoys boating, skiing and tennis.  He also gives back to his local community by serving on the Board of The Family and Children’s Agency located in Norwalk CT.

    Jonathan joined Morgan Stanley in 2013.  He graduated from the University of Richmond with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration, where he dual majored in International Business and Finance. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Jonathan was a Regional Advisor at Oppenheimer Funds.  He currently holds in Series 7, 63, 66, CRPC®   and insurance license. In his free time Jonathan enjoys skiing, travel, NY sports and exploring New York City.

    Jonah Evangelista is a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley’s global headquarters in Purchase, NY, with nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.  Jonah brings a wide depth of financial acumen with a unique perspective considering his prior experience as a trader, securities analyst, portfolio manager, and now financial advisor—this enables him to help guide clients through a full spectrum of financial concerns.

    Jonah earned his Bachelor’s degree in finance from Villanova University in 1999. He currently resides in Mamaroneck, New York, with his wife, Laura, and their children, Jack and Lucy. When he’s not devoting time to helping clients, Jonah enjoys volunteering for local non-profit organizations, playing golf and basketball, and coaching his children’s sports teams.

    Kate joined Morgan Stanley in March of 2007. Before coming to the firm, she was a Client Associate with The Peters Group at Merrill Lynch for two years where she served as team liaison for Managed Money, Alternative Investments and Lending. Kate began her financial services career in 1997 with Wachovia Securities in North Carolina, before returning to New York in 2002 to join Smith Barney as a Sales Assistant. Kate has her Series 3, 7, 63 and 65 registrations. She graduated from St. John?s University with a BS in Communications.

    About Me

    Kim joined the Peters Group in March of 2007. Kim graduate from the University of Delaware in 2003 with a BS. Kim worked for a popular clothing line as an Area Manager for over 5 years, before transitioning to Morgan Stanley. Kim is the managed money specialist for the team.

    Chris joined Morgan Stanley and The Peters Group in May of 2013 as a Wealth Management Associate. Before coming to the firm he was an associate in the Private Wealth Division at Deutsche Bank. His focus is on research, trading, client portolio reviews, corporate syndicate, and managed accounts. Chris graduated from the University of Connecticut's School of Business in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He currently holds series 7, and 66 licenses.
    Chris enjoys skiing and golfing.

    Mark joined Morgan Stanley as a Wealth Management Analyst in 2016. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mark worked as a Regional Consultant at AllianceBernstein for 2.5 years. He graduated from Fordham University?s Gabelli School of Business in 2010 with a BS in Business Administration, a concentration in Finance and a specialization in Business Communications. Mark also received an MBA from the University of Scranton?s Kania School of Management in 2013 where he double majored in Finance and International Business. He currently holds Series 7 and 66 licenses.

    Ashley joined Morgan Stanley as an intern in Manhasset, NY office in 2008. After graduating she was hired as a Client Service Associate and has worked in the Garden City, NY office for the last 9 years. Relocating to Dutchess County, Ashley joined the Peters Group in January of 2018 as a Wealth Management Associate. She is passionate about cultivating relationships with new and existing clients by providing them with exclusive and personalized service to all administrative and operational needs. Ashley graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from St. John?s University, and holds the Series 7 and Series 63 professional licenses.

    Eric joined Morgan Stanley and the Peters Group as a Registered Service Associate in April of 2018. Eric previously worked as a Registered Client Associate at Merrill Lynch for two years before coming to Morgan Stanley. He currently holds Series 7 and 66 licenses and is primarily responsible for the Performance Reporting and Financial Planning for the team. Eric graduated from the University of Hartford in 2015 with a major in economics and finance. In his free time, Eric enjoys the outdoors and playing golf and basketball.
