About Michael Patterson

Michael Patterson is a Senior Vice President with over 40 years of experience as a Financial Advisor.  As the founding member of the Patterson Group, Mike focuses on creating personalized investment portfolios that seeks maximize risk-adjusted returns and tax efficiency.  He and his team believe that each client deserves an investment strategy that is tailor-made for their individual goals and needs.  Although this approach takes more time and consideration, they feel it provides more value than risk-based investment portfolios where many clients are grouped together and share identical asset allocations.  After all, no two clients are alike, why should their investments be exactly the same? 

Mike graduated from Michigan State with his BA in Business and has lived in the Madison area for 43 years with his wife, Cathy. He had been on the Finance Council at St. Francis Xavier for 30 years and participates in the Feed the Homeless project at Grace Episcopal Church.

About Kevin Patterson

Kevin Patterson, Financial Advisor, joined the Patterson Group at Morgan Stanley in 2010.  Since he began his career, Kevin has focused on providing unbiased investment advice that puts his clients’ interests above his own.  Although Kevin works with a variety of clients, he concentrates on helping individuals and families that are going through major life transitions.  Specifically, he and his team help their clients navigate the financial complexities that result from ending a marriage, losing a loved one, transitioning into retirement, or selling a business interest.

Kevin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investment & Banking from the Business School at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  In addition, he has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation, which requires extensive training and represents a high level of competency, ethics, and professionalism.  In his spare time, Kevin and his wife, Andrea, are foster parents and active volunteers for Fetch Wisconsin, Inc., an all-breed dog rescue based in Madison, WI.

Debra Jones is a Sr. Client Service Associate with the Patterson Group at Morgan Stanley.  Debra has more than 17 years of financial service experience and is responsible for handling day-to-day account maintenance as well as providing exceptional customer service.  Debra subscribes to the philosophy that no matter how small a client issue may be, she will not be satisfied until it is fully resolved.
