Caryn Alles has more than 20 years of experience with Morgan Stanley delivering exceptional value to ultra-high net worth families and middle market institutions. Focusing in comprehensive financial planning, strategic asset allocation, and meticulous manager selection, Caryn has developed a reputation for her deep understanding of the financial markets and her ability to tailor investment strategies to the unique needs of clients. Her experience not only lies in identifying growth opportunities but also in managing risks, helping to ensure client portfolios are well-positioned to capitalize on market trends while preserving their wealth. Ken is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and holds Series 7, 31 and 66 securities licenses, as well as insurance licenses in Oregon and Arizona. He graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. degree in mathematics from the University of Portland. In July 2024, Ken was named to the Portland Business Journal's prestigious 40 under 40 list. This recognition was a reflection of his hard work and dedication to servicing his clients.
Ken enjoys cooking, playing his trumpet, cycling, home brewing beer, and entertaining friends and family. He lives in Southeast Portland with his wife, Jennifer, and their three daughters.

For nearly 30 years, Josh has been helping clients develop and implement customized wealth management strategies based on a comprehensive, up-to-date understanding of their full financial pictures. His depth of knowledge in wealth management, banking, and portfolio management positions him to address the full range of complex financial challenges.
During his over 29-year tenure with Morgan Stanley*, Josh has served clients in key roles within Morgan Stanley Global Wealth Management, Previously, as Regional Vice President, he was responsible for enhancing client experience, growing revenue and increasing profitability for 12 offices across five western states. The advisors under his purview had nearly $8 billion in capital responsibility and represented more than $50 million in revenue to the firm. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Josh served as a credit administrator, lead financial analyst and commercial loan officer with a major west coast bank.
Josh received his Certified Investment Management Analyst® certification through an executive education series at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics cum laude from the University of Utah and is a graduate of the Northwest Intermediate Commercial Lending School.
Josh has served in leadership roles for multiple youth sports, community, and nonprofit organizations, and has a special place in his heart for energy policy and high-wage job growth initiatives. In addition to having served as a member of the Oregon Talent Council and a board member of the Oregon Environmental Council, he was a co-founder and board member of Power Oregon. Josh and his wife, Wendie, live in Lake Oswego, Oregon, where Wendie practices as an attorney. They have three children.

Having joined Morgan Stanley in 2023 in a pivotal wealth management leadership role serving Oregon, Alaska, Montana, Southwest Washington, and Idaho, Annette’s current role entails co-leading one of the largest wealth management teams in the Pacific Northwest. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Project Management from George Fox University.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Annette harbors a strong commitment to community building, demonstrated through her active participation over the years with nonprofit organizations as a board member, including HouseCall Providers, North Pole Studios, and currently, Willamette Falls Trust. She most relishes the time she gets to spend with her family and friends, enjoying a delicious meal or enjoying the great outdoors engaging in activities like hiking, skiing, dirt biking, camping, and fishing.

Ryan has 15 years of industry experience and has held various roles including Client Service Associate, Wealth Strategy Associate, and Financial Advisor. Ryan brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a commitment to outstanding service.
Ryan has been deeply engaged in alpine ski coaching, teaching all ages and ability levels for Mt. Hood Meadows and holds a PSIA level III & Child Specialist II certification as well as a level 100 through US Ski & Snowboard. In addition to ski coaching, Ryan managed the Mazama Lodge in Government Camp and has co-managed Cascade Ski Club. He brings with him a passion for the outdoors and loves white water rafting, hiking, backpacking, and mountaineering. Ryan also has a passion for wild culinary mushroom foraging.
Ryan's significant skills and experience make him a great fit for our clients and team.

Amy Oberson joined Morgan Stanley in 2014 with 8 years of banking and client service experience. Amy truly enjoys her roll at Morgan Stanley and finds great joy in connecting with clients and going above and beyond to make sure their needs are met.
In Amy’s time away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband Eric welcomed a baby boy in August of 2023. In addition to enjoying her time as a mom, Amy has a passion for archery hunting and is an avid fisherwoman. She also loves camping and foraging for wild mushrooms. A unique fact about Amy is that she was a softball pitcher for the University of Oregon during the 2002 through 2006 seasons. After completing four years of collegiate softball, Amy went on to play professional softball in Italy, where she finally retired from the sport after 15 years.
Her heart for helping others along with her years of experience makes Amy a great fit for our team.

Her responsibilities there included event coordination and cultivation of relationships with major donors and clients. About Ian McCormick
Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.
Ian began his career in financial services in 2011, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2015 as a Private Banker. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Director of Business Development at Fort West. He also served as a Production Manager-Loan Officer at Churchill Mortgage.
Ian is a graduate of Oregon State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He lives in Portland, Oregon with his family. Outside of the office, Ian enjoys hunting, fishing, skiing and rafting.
