About Dean A Billman

Dean has been with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management for over 25 years. He is a Senior Vice President, Wealth Management and a Financial Advisor focused on serving the financial needs of individuals, endowments and foundations with long-term investment strategies. He also focuses on retirement income planning. 

His education factors extensively into his acumen as a financial advisor. Dean has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University, and a Master in Business Administration degree from Xavier University. He has also completed post-graduate work at Claremont Graduate School in Claremont, CA.

When he's not at work, Dean volunteers on several local community organizations, including The Pasadena Tournament of Roses, Pasadena City College’s Business Administration Advisory Committee and is a member of the Rotary Club of Pasadena. He is also an avid runner. Dean resides in Pasadena with his wife Karen.

About Andrea Atanay

Andrea began her career in the Financial Services industry in 1994. She was inspired by her mother, who was one of the first women traders admitted to the floor of the Pacific Coast Stock Exchange in the 1960s. Andrea’s first job was on a trading desk at a start-up firm and over the years she rose up through the ranks to become one of only two, female Financial Advisors at Merrill Lynch in Downtown LA in 2009.

Andrea is a Vice President, Portfolio Management Director, Family Wealth Advisor and member of The Orange Grove Group at Morgan Stanley in Pasadena. She focuses on helping families work through unique and complicated financial planning matters. She enjoys helping clients organize, prioritize and solve complex wealth management issues.

As a working mother of two, she understands the importance of work life balance and setting aside time for creativity. Andrea is passionate about the arts and is also a mixed media artist. She has earned degrees in jewelry design & fabrication from GIA – Gemological Institute of America.

Andrea is a current board member for Pasadena Beautiful Foundation. She grew-up in the San Gabriel Valley and graduated from Westridge School for Girls in Pasadena. She went on to attain her bachelor’s degree at UC Santa Cruz.

Michael Co is a Financial Advisor and member of The Orange Grove Group in Pasadena. Michael helps his clients navigate through the volatility of financial markets in order to reach their goals. At Morgan Stanley, he uses a holistic approach to understand his clients’ goals through financial planning and a goal based portfolio management. Michael believes portfolio management centers on research driven ideas and disciplined decisions in both good and bad markets.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Michael was an Equity Research Analyst advising institutional investors on stock selection. About Peter Barash

Peter Barash is a Private Banker serving Morgan Stanley Wealth Management offices in California.

Private Bankers partner with Financial Advisors to develop a specialized approach for managing clients’ cash flow, liquidity and financing needs, leveraging our comprehensive suite of cash management and lending solutions.

Peter began his career in financial services in 1984, and joined Morgan Stanley in 2010 as a Private Banker. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Private Banking Specialist at U.S. Bank.

Peter is a graduate of Columbia University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Comparative Literature. He holds an MBA from the University of Southern California. He lives in Glendale, California with his family. Outside of the office, Peter enjoys, hiking, playing bass guitar and reading.

Joy is a graduate of Centro Escolar University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication. She lives in Los Angeles, California with her husband. Joy is the founder of Alexis Louise Quiza (ALQ) Children’s Foundation, and past president of the Filipino American Business Association of Glendale – Greater Los Angeles from 2018-2019. Outside of the office, Joy volunteers in various community events serving the AAPI community. She and her husband love to travel and enjoy the joy their daughter and three dogs bring in their lives.
