Welcome to The One North Group at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management

Our Story
We are a multidisciplinary team of 14 experienced professionals who combine our talents to help highly affluent families address the complex challenges of managing generational wealth. By focusing all of our attention on the needs of a select few clients, we are able to serve as close family advisors to each. We understand their needs and aspirations and deliver comprehensive solutions to help them pursue their most important life goals.

Having worked with ultra high net worth families and their foundations for many years, we have learned that there is no substitute for thoughtful, proactive and strategic advice. We have also learned that no individual Advisor, no matter how qualified, can meet the full spectrum of their needs. That is why we place great emphasis on collaboration. That starts within our team and extends to our colleagues across Morgan Stanley, the investment banking community and our clients' attorneys, CPAs and other trusted advisors.

We look forward to learning more about you and your family, and to discussing our approach to helping you achieve your multigenerational goals.

Source: Barron's.com (May 2024) 2024 Barron's Top 250 Private Wealth Management Teams awarded in 2024. The teams are ranked on a variety of factors, including their size and shape, their regulatory records and credentials of their members, and the resources they have at their disposal to serve their client bases. The rankings are meant as a starting point for clients looking for an advisor—a first-pass vetting that can help investors narrow a search. Every advisor will have his or her own approach to investing, financial planning, and other services. Clients are encouraged to approach a search for an advisor the way they would a search for a doctor—interviewing multiple professionals and getting opinions from multiple third parties. Podcast: "Thoughts on the Market"

One of the larger Morgan Stanley Wealth Management teams in Arizona and the surrounding region, we manage over $4.2 billion in assets for approximately 110 ultra high net worth families and select nonprofit organizations.

Virtually all of our clients are successful entrepreneurs who built thriving businesses from the ground up. Many of these relationships started as they were considering strategies to monetize the value of their companies and were facing complex and unfamiliar wealth management issues. We had the experience and knowledge to make sure that they were asking the right questions and making informed decisions. We had the resources and the network to help them put those decisions into action.

Whether you have already achieved considerable financial success or are on the way there, we can help you organize your financial life. We can help you structure and invest your wealth to support your lifestyle, secure your legacy and support your family, business and philanthropic goals.

Approach

Discovery Process
Investing the time to learn about you and your family; your assets and liabilities and the risk exposures, enables us to formulate strategies and customize the relationship to your needs.
Formulation of Tax, Trust and Estate Strategy
Working with your tax and legal advisors, we help analyze your income and estate tax circumstances to identify and tailor planning techniques that may be used to address your objectives.
Creation of Customized Strategic Asset Allocation
Your customized asset allocation reflects risk, opportunities and taxation across multiple entities, while integrating your investing and estate plans.
Integration of Tactical Asset Allocation
Short-term adjustments seek to capitalize on temporary market distortions. Before making adjustments, we analyze the impact of taxes and trading costs on potential returns.
Implementation of a Customized Wealth Strategy
After comprehensive due diligence and analysis of expected results across multiple market scenarios, strategies are chosen from our expansive investment platform.
Ongoing Assessment
In coordination with your other advisors, we can conduct ongoing reviews and comprehensive reporting to ensure that your strategy adapts to changing financial and family needs.
