About Me

Palmer Ogden is a Financial Advisor and First Vice President with 17 years of industry experience, and is a founding partner of the Ogden/Szewczyk/Estes Group at Morgan Stanley in Tampa, Florida. Combined, the team has over 40 years of industry experience and focuses on delivering a comprehensive wealth management service model to the clients they serve. In addition to comprehensive cash management and lending solutions, the group focuses on estate planning strategy, cash flow forecasting-based financial plans, and broad-based guidance that covers both sides of a client’s personal balance sheet, with a focus on tax minimization and risk mitigation. They devise and manage customized investment strategies that are designed to enhance the client’s ability to meet their long-term financial goals.

Within Morgan Stanley, Palmer is a qualified Portfolio Manager who applies the knowledge he has gained from nearly two decades of integrated wealth management. His experience with asset allocation modeling, alternative investments, and portfolio diversification help him to pursue a client’s investment goals with insight and steady resolve. As a disciplined portfolio manager, he closely tracks the impact of macro-economic movements on investment returns, refining strategies and tactics in light of changing market themes. In addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, Palmer can help clients pursue their objectives by building and managing his own personalized or defined strategies, which may incorporate individual stocks, bonds and options, or Morgan Stanley model portfolios and third-party investment strategies.

Palmer earned his Bachelor’s degree, with a dual major in finance and marketing while attending Honors College classes at the University of South Florida. He grew up in the area and now lives with his wife and two daughters in South Tampa.
